I went to this hair salon for the first time as another hair stylist recommended me to go there. I honestly believed coming from another hairstylist it would be a good place and I didnât even think of reading these horrible reviews. I wanted to get something different done as my birthday is approaching on June 19th and wanted to go from black to a copper color. It was 6 months that I had not box dyed my hair as I was waiting my roots to grown out more to get this hair color done. All the girls were so nice however nice does not speak for the horrible experience I had encountered. My appointment was with Chandler Day who I explained I wanted a copper tone not too light but also not too dark. She explained she would have to bleach my hair which she did three times!!!! The first pass was okay second to third I couldnât handle the pain and my eyes watering I asked them if it was normal as I couldnât stand the pain in my scalp. I understand the scalp is going to burn since helloooo itâs bleach I know however this was not a simple bleach burn this was way out of hand. She left my hair bleaching for so many minutes, hours I can say as they continued to make tic tok videos and eat while I was in pain, she didnât even offer to rinse my hair out. When she was done with the second pass she looked over to the owner and mumbled something, by that time I knew something was not bad was happening and that my hair had already been F-up. I went in around 11:30am they werenât done with me until later at 5pm. I had a feeling that my hair had been over processed and I knew this was the case right after I felt my hair when she was about to blow dry my hair because the texture was just awful. Well she did her thing and my hair took so long to dry as well. By the time she was done blow drying my hair was so hard and crunchy on my tips not to mention my bangs were also crunchy so she decided to cut more hair off I guess to hide what she had done. When she finished she told me she was sorry that I couldnât leave satisfied with the color I wanted as my hair was porous and my hair was not taking the color anymore. Keep in mind I came in with very healthy hair as you can see on the first image, only thing is that my hair is thin so she should have know how to work with it and to be careful. She told me she had spoken to the manager and that she told her to have me come back in two week after to fix my hair and it would be complimentary. She charged me $710.00 for me just to look like the chucky doll. I went to the truck cried for many minutes until I got myself together and said you know what maybe this is okay my hair will look good after I come back. Drive off to the house the day after I woke up with my hair feeling even worse that I decided to get in the shower and see if maybe I could fix it by washing it myself as she had already used heat on my hair so I wanted to wash it and add some oils to it after. Well while I was showering i noticed hair in between my legs chunks of them and at that time I began to freak out, I didnât know what to do I got out the shower and as I dried my hair I could still see more and more hair falling off not to mention my hair feeling like a gum melting outside. I would pull my ends of my hair and they would stretch so much it was the most horrible experience Iâve ever had in my life. I decided to call them but they were not responding. I decided to search what could I do to stop it from falling and I found a page that said I could use the aphogee hair treatment and that should work wonders right away and stop my hair from falling and having that gum texture. I ran to Sallyâs and sure enough my hair had stopped falling. I cant add more details as itâs too long however they did not want to fully or partially refund me for the damages made in addition I went to Mexico to get my hair fixed which is the last picture and a lot of hair had to be cut off from how damaged my hair was. please be cautious with this place and donât trust these people!!!! WORST HAIR SALON EVER and the reviews speak...
Read moreIn regardsto to your response, I have attached an after Photo, which looks better than real life, no filter, my hair has so much breakish and some has fallen off from the root. My hair prior to coming to your place, was not dry nor damaged, in fact I have very healthy hair,. It was all virgin hair from the back except for the front frame highlights that were grown out, I can attach a before picture as well. If my hair was in the bad shape you claim, wouldn't you advice against bleaching it? At the consultation the owner saw & touched my hair and said it was good and it would be no problem, and booked my appointment. Your response regarding the condition of my hair is dishonest and false. I am fully aware that reaching a desired color can take several visits. Again like stated on my review, The colorist messed up, had to correct her work & charge me extra for her mistake. I was not satisfied with the end result, mainly about how damaged my front hair is now. Thankfully my hair was healthy enough to begin with and did not completely fall off. The black part looked good, I did like that part, no damage but after two hair washes the color has completely faded out.
Simple hair color request, unfortunately the colorist had a difficult time getting the color right. She had my hair looking a gray, green and yellow color, and wasn't really saying much about fixing it on her own. I had to tell her it needed to be fixed. I feel like I over paid, the quality of work does not match the price. In my opinion she is a beginner, entry level colorist and the price should be entry level. Definitely not worth the money I paid, My hair color is not how I wanted it and now super damaged. After telling her that it had be fixed, She did try her best to correct her work, she did the best she could and so I just settled for it at the end. Also they make you sign a waiver (red flag đ©) I've never had to sign a waiver at any hair saloon ever! That was strange. I was quoted a price for both colors I wanted before my appointment, My hair is really short by the way. On day of appoint they said fees went up $15, I agreed to the upcharge, then I was charged extra money again becouse she said she ran out of hair color and had to use more color, then after she had to correct the hairframe color she messed up she charged me for using more product. I don't mind spending the money but it just doesn't make sense. I could understand if I had long hair but my hair is short, and I had a very simple hair coloring black with a blonde frame, the black came out fine, but the frame was a fail. I was recommended this place by a friend, I should have done more research. Do your own research...
Read moreI came to this salon more than 5 months ago for a simple trim and long layers. It went well, staff was friendly and professional. Process did take more than an hour which I felt was a bit long for just a cut. In all was happy with the service. Yesterday, i decided to go back to them for full highlights. I told the stylist That I really wanted to keep most of my natural color and I would like the highlights to be of a Brown tone to blend well with my naturally dark Brown hair. I showed her a picture specifically of the color that I wanted. I emphasized to her that I did not want blonde. After discussion, the stylies convinced me to go with bayalage. I was very hesitant to do this I had done this in the past and it caused a lot of damage to it my hair. However, I put my trust in her and let her proceed. NEVER WILL I STEP FOOT INTO THIS SALON EVER AGAIN!!! I had made my appointment for 2pm, they started 15 minutes late. I didn't walk out of there until after 630pm. My hair is now ruined with multiple different shades from blonde, ash, copper, brass, and 1 strand of the actual Brown I wanted. Complete waste of my time and money badly spent. Even the stylist realized the color was not at all how I wanted it. She's offered for me to return next week for color correction but I read another review and I will not let these people touch my hair as they made another customer's "corrected hair" even worse!!!! Then there were extra fees added on that I was not made aware of....root smudge$45 (i don't even know what the F this is, the stylist mentioned she was going to start the color up higher towards my roots. Sneaky way of getting that extra charge), extra bleach $25 each ( I was charged for 2)....I was appalled at my total in the end of 280.00 for a horrible job. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Side note...I was not the only unhappy customer in that place yesterday. Looked like this place is...
