I've been wanting to get my first Rolex for quite a while now. Six or so years ago I put my name down for one at a different authorized dealer in the galleria with near zero knowledge about how the world of luxury watches worked. That employees didn't seem to care at all when a potential customer walked in. Now having something else to compare I think something particularly shady is going on with them. I seriously thought that must be how it is with watch brands like this... de Boulle showed me that's not the case.
I walked into de Boulle for the first time a few months ago fresh off of another experience at the other store and was just amazed at the difference in service. An extremely nice guy named Robert chatted with me about watches for nearly half an hour, answering all my questions. No hard selling either, just a genuine good experience. I felt like royalty and I had never even spent a dollar there. I got a profile and on the list for a couple of different watches. On the way out I told Robert seriously, "The other store could call tomorrow with the most rare watch on the planet and I would refuse." He told me to come in anytime if I just want to grab a coffee and ask questions or browse jewelry.
