Hello former employee here:) I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that no one should work for this company, ESPECIALLY anyone whose district manager is Angie Hamilton. Why you may ask? Oh Iâll tell you. Before o get to that though, the pay isnât worth it. You do so much, deal with so much for such little pay. But back to the main topic. First off, when Angie comes in, EVERYONE is stressed/terrified because she just kills the whole vibe. Iâd be working and immediately feel the vibe change when we got notice that she was either coming in, or worse that she was actually walking into the store now. I understand that we buy in certain things but Angie doesnât know style. She made people buy in hideous items that will just sit on the floor, eventually leading to being donated out of the system. Plus Iâve heard from multiple others from different locations that Angie makes us feel like a dog on a very tight leash. Why you may ask? Well whenever we tried to be spontaneous, she would yank on the precious leash and kill the thought. Also, I know people that work so hard for the company, but doesnât get any recognition from her. Itâs always not good enough in my option. Secondly, sheâs terrible at following through with setting up times to actually certify people. A few of us girls trained for months being told âAngie will be in contact with you in a weekâ well that went on for about 3-4 months. So you can probably tell we werenât thrilled:) Lastly, why is a reality tv star a district manager? Angie Hamilton was on Wife Swap (s3 e17: Lowe vs. Hamilton if anyoneâs curious;)) you can really tell the type of person she is by watching the episode (itâs on Hulu) No one will admit but everyone has some things to say about her and how she acts. Thatâs not everything I have to say, but Iâm 100% sure you all have been made aware of everything else sheâs done....
Read moreAfter reading the reviews for this place, I was weary about even going. Due to the amount of clothing I own that I don't wear, I went anyways. Totally regret that now. I came in with a duffel bag packed full of NICE clothes. No holes, no stains, no piling. Most were name brands( Hollister, aeropostale, american eagle, abrocrombie, ect.) When I walked in the lady had me answer a few questions and told me to walk around the store while they sorted through my duffel bag. As I'm walking around looking at what they have, I'm feeling really confident about my clothes. A lot of what they had wasn't even name brands. But they said that's what they mostly purchase. Okay, whatever. So after maybe 15 minutes I get he text that they've finished reviewing my items. I thought it was really fast considering the amount of stuff I brought, but I was still confident that at least most of my items were purchased. WRONG. They only purchased five items. FIVE. One of the items still had the tags attached ($22.95). I walked out with $9.91. Absolutely ridiculous. I had multiple pairs of Hollister, old navy and american eagle shorts and jeans and NONE were purchased. I had a brand new pair of sparkle vans in there, too. Since when is that stuff "not in style". They probably would have purchased more if they actually looked through the clothes like they're supposed to but literally 75% of it hadn't been touched. Evervthig they purchased was what I had on top in the duffel. Lmao. Take my advice and don't waste your time going to this place. Its a joke and you'll just leave confused and slightly pissed off for wasting time and gas....
Read moreI will never come to this location again. Loyal customer since you opened. Your employees need a lesson on time management and how to treat customers! The girl with the blue or purple streak in her hair needs to learn to not talk about customers in store! I was quoted 15 mins with the online check in but was told 1 hour by the girl checking me in. No big deal except it took 2 hours for these young unprofessional girls I wonât call them women as they act like spoiled brats! I will only be going to the beavercreek location. Obviously the 15 items they did take was fine. But to have buckle items with tags on it bought 3 months ago not to be taken. Seriously think about who you are hiring. Educate them on brands not just SHEIN and things with holes in it. Took a stroll thru the store with my daughter and honestly the most disheveled store I have ever seen. No wonder the majority of things had clearance tags on them as they were things these girls deemed fashion but not selling for a reason. Things that are not cute or any of the young ladies I coach would ever wear. The torrid items they didnât take are laughable as the social media posts all I see is the request for more plus size items. Again with tags on them and bought less than 6 months ago. Now for the fun part brand new north face jackets in there and a patagonia item . Took to the beavercreek location they took 90% of the 2 totes I had. Iâm not going to waste my time with the Huber location as these so called employees have no clue what they are doing. Whoever the manager of this store is needs to educate...
