I ended up stranded last year in Hurricane Utah after a fuel supply line blew up on my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. The part was not something that was kept on hand by any parts house because it was a Cummins part. I wasn't able to easily identify the part. I can't remember who helped me at O'Reiley, but someone there did some research and identified the part for me. This was a Cummins part, so he basically did it out of the goodness of his own heart. He made a real difference because each night staying at a hotel was over $100 during the spring season. Thanks to him, I was able to get the part ordered, and hop on a bus home to wait for it to arrive. I am really grateful to him, and I wish I recalled his name!! This happened in late February of 2022.
I recently had a horrible experience at the Chinden Garden City Idaho location in which I said that I'd like to never go back to O'Reiley again. That being said, maybe I should re-think that, considering the altruistic help I got while stranded in Hurricane. Just an awesome person, thank you from the bottom...
Read moreDiscrimination and Racism is the vibe and energy at this location. They have been telling my mechanic, who does not look like them...that their rotor machine is not working bc it needs a part. So for the last 3 months of 2023, my mechanic stops by to ask about the rotor resurfacing machine and he is given the same excuse, "that it needs a part". To provide the service that your brand stands for and offers. Less than 15 minutes after talking to corporate, Jason from O'Reilly calls me and informs me that the rotor machine is working and they are ready to provide service. A few days later, my mechanic and I were able to go in and get excellent...
Read moreOnly giving 2 stars because I took in two batteries and some oil for recycling. The employee that helped me out with that was great. He gave me a $20 gift card for the two batteries. I decided to use the gift card right then to pick up a couple things I needed. The the employee who was bald and has a moustache. I don't remember his name but he was outspokenly critical of me using the gift card saying things like "oh can't even hold on to $20 huh?" and "Oh you're only going to have $3 left after this" in a very rude and sarcastic manner. I felt like I was being judged by him the entire time. Makes me not even want to go back there at all. Why is he so critical of someone who gets a gift card and basically gives the company their money by purchasing items at their store? You'd think they'd want to be...
