One of my BIGGEST mistakes in life was signing up for this school!!!!!!! This place is nothing but a fraud. Filled with nothing but ghetto students and instructors in particular The red headed woman. First of all how are you going to teach someone to be professional yet you come to class with your hair as bright as little red riding hood. At least if she knew how to teach it would compensate for the hoodrat in her. Instead she comes to class on a daily basis telling you life stories like who cares? Write a book or take it to Oprah! Instead of teaching she will have you bow your head to pray. I'm not against that, but we need an education. Even the Bible says, "There's a time and a place for everything." She's more focused on gossip and fraternizing with students more than following the curriculum. She is never prepared for class, but all the ghetto students love her since she could relate to the hoodrat in them!!!!!! Oh get this though she will give you a ton of work that you will take home to go teach yourself because she knows she's not teaching and if you go complain she has grades for everything so they won't do anything about it. If you think signing up for Fortis in Indianapolis is going to make you a successful Medical Assistant think again. You will be nothing but pocket change them since they feel that Nursing is the only program keeping them open so Medical Assistants become irrelevant. Please I'm begging you do not sign up for this place you will regret it and it will be nothing but money wasted. The only good instructor they have for the Medical Assistants is the white lady nurse, but everybody hates her since she likes to shake the dumb off of them. Since she won't be your instructor for every course STAY AWAY!!!!!! If you like drama, ghetto trash, ratchetness, people coming to school crying about baby daddy this, baby daddy that, crying about eviction notices, etc then Fortis College in Indianapolis...
Read moreNow that im officially not affiliated with this school i can repost my review (dr.cox made me delete my review)... I went to this school for 2 years and i just withdrew 3 weeks ago! This school is terrible and very unprofessional. Last quarter 2 classes failed and they put all the blame on the students instead of the instructors. My problem with this school is that they put instructors in classes that they are not qualified to teach. You can be a good hands on nurse but bad at teaching its a big difference. Teachers quit or get fired back to back there wasnt any structure and honestly i feel like i was wasting my time and i wasnt going to be successful for the NCLEX exam. There passing rate is very low. The entire time i was there YOUTUBE AND QUIZLET WAS MY BESTFRIEND. AND BEFORE THE DEAN QUIT SHE WAS TEACHING MULTIPLE CLASSES WHILE THE INSTRUCTORS SAT ON THE SIDE INCLUDING THE ASSISTANT DEAN WHO IS NOW THE DEAN. I FEEL LIKE I WAS GOING TO CLASS FOR NO REASON. ALL THE GOOD INSTRUCTORS QUIT BEFORE I STARTED MY NURSING COURSES SO IT WAS REALLY BAD. OVERALL THIS SCHOOL SUCK AND THEY GOING TO ALWAYS STICK UP FOR THERE INSTRUCTORS.. & LET ME REMIND YOU THAT I ALWAYS BEEN ABOVE A 3.4! STICK TO AN COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE SCHOOL HAS A GOOD NCLEX PASSING RATE... I CAN GO ON AND ON BOUT MY 2 YEARS HERE BUT ILL LET YOU DECIDE...
Read moreI am beyond grateful and proud to be a part of the Federal Worker Study Program. This journey has been life changing for me, not just academically, but personally and professionally as well. One of the biggest blessings throughout this experience has been the unwavering support of two incredible women Ms. Nai and Brandi. From the very beginning, they have been my cheerleaders, mentors, and guiding lights. There were moments when I doubted myself or felt overwhelmed, but their encouragement and belief in my potential always lifted me back up. Ms. Nai has this unique ability to make you feel seen, heard, and capable. Her guidance is always thoughtful, and her positive energy is truly contagious. Brandi has been just as phenomenal always there with kind words, practical advice, and a genuine desire to see me succeed. Thanks to their support, I’ve grown not only in my studies but also in confidence and resilience. I feel empowered, inspired, and excited about my future as a federal worker. Thank you, Ms. Nai and Brandi, for believing in me. Your support means more than words...
