El Toro Restaurant is an absolute gem for Mexican cuisine and has become our go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying meal. The first dish that stole our hearts is their queso birria tacos. These tacos are pure perfection - filled with tender and flavorful birria meat and wrapped in a cheese filled soft taco shell that adds an extra layer of creaminess. The consomme served with the tacos elevate the flavor of the meat giving a whole new layered flavor you can't forget. The combination of the rich flavors and the satisfying texture make these tacos an absolute delight.

We also love the steak and shrimp quesadilla. The combination of succulent steak and perfectly cooked shrimp creates an explosion of flavors in every bite. The quesadilla is flawlessly prepared with a golden, crispy exterior and a gooey, cheesy interior that perfectly complements the flavorful ingredients. It truly is a heavenly combination that keeps us coming back for more.

To top it all off, El Toro serves some of the most flavorful margaritas in town. The margaritas here are crafted with care and attention, resulting in a perfect balance of sweetness and tang. Every sip is bursting with refreshing flavors that perfectly accompany the vibrant Mexican dishes. Not to mention, they often have great special prices, making it even more appealing to indulge in these...

When walked in, the hostess, who clearly didn't care to be there, sat us in first table she could see. There was an issue with the table, however she didn't seem to understand what was going on. We sorted that problem (at the same table) ourselves. The restaurant itself is more or less one big room, with everyone staring at each other. Not a great atmosphere, in my opinion. Someone brought us chips, which were not great. No one EVER brought water. No one came to take orders EVER (waited 10 minutes for someone to check on us). There was a waiter working other tables, by the way. So after a while, we left. On the way out told the carefree hostess that no one ever came to the table, and all we got was a blank stare. As far as the food- we obviously didn't try it, however from looking at what other people had, it looked mediocre at best. So, I have to say no to this place, especially as it's easy to find...

I'm 30 years old and have NEVER written a review online but today is the day! This place was FANTASTIC!! Reviews raved about Margaritas and they did not let us down! My fiancé and I shared a pitcher of peach margarita..If you are a light drinker, don't do that lol (They have a variety of sizes). They had the perfect amount of alcohol and they weren't super sweet just perfect!! We ordered our food, our waiter was super sweet and although we had a tad bit of a hard time understanding him, he understood us perfect, because everything we ordered came out perfect and within 10 minutes! The food was delicious I had the quesobirria tacos and birria broth with beans and rice and they were the best birria tacos i'd ever had! This place is a huge win..did I mention it was all VERY well priced!! We are going back today before we head back...

I had been calling this place since 9:10 and the phone kept hanging up so I figured they had a problem with both phone lines. I decided to order online but both orders were rejected. I then driven to the location and arrive about 9:30 PM and once I arrived one of the workers hurry up and walked to the door and locked it. Once I arrived at the door the worker said to me that they are closed. I said I thought you guys close at 10:00 PM and she said no we close at 9:00 and pointed to the time on the door which clearly displays they closed at 10:00 PM. Then she changed her story and said the manager said they close at 9:00 PM. I proceeded to look inside and there were people still dining in. Boycott El Toro for discrimination.

Although we were disappointed to find the patio was closed on an 80°+ day and outdoor dining was our mission, this did not hinder us from dining and having a great experience. The restaurant was clean and the friendliness of staff, especially our server Daniel (I think is his name) was exceptional. This was our first time at this El Toro (I’ve been to the one in Castleton and downtown), and this one just might have become my favorite. The birria tacos were scrumptious and well seasoned. The guac was equally delicious and flavorful. I will definitely return.

Ate here for the first time today. In summary, I would say it is a solid Mexican restaurant that I would try again. First impression is that the space is upscale - hardwood, feels more like an Italian restaurant. Very nice, clean and spacious. My food did not quite match the space... I had the Bravo Fajitas, which have every protein available. Flavor was decent. Nothing special. It was a little burnt on the bottom. Rice and beans were average. My servers were non-native speakers and were quiet and professional. I'll come back and try again.
