Save A Lot — Local services in Inverness

Been going there for 8 years now,recently changed hands replaced lights coolers etc, added bunch of "name brands" etc. I now find its cheaper to shop at winn Dixie on just about everything there, they don't have sales,they send out a flyer one page. They have like 4 weekend specials, everything else in the add is just advertising there stuff, it's the same price as anytime. Everytime I go in there now I see prices edging up, ( they already did for inflation thing) but they continue to edge up I'll see .10 more on this .15 on this etc. Constant , it's meant to be a value store it's not anymore, adding name brands dosent do it, I liked the brands they had were quite comparable to the name brands, I don't like it their overhead has to be 1/4 if not more across than winn Dixie across the street ,there is like 4 people working there at any giving time at save alot that's it the rent has to be much less cause a poorer mall, I mean just dosent make sense anymore really dosent cheaper and fresher at WD more employees to help. Never more than one register open at savealot, and if there is it's cause the manager stopped what he was doing to man register, it's just sad to say they have just out lived the reason...

Great store and I seem to spend about 1/2 what I do when shopping over at Winn-Dixie across the way. I used to be afraid of the store I don't know why but I think everything is really great except I don't buy the seafood that's about it. And that's only because most of it is from Vietnam and well, just personal preference not to eat their seafood let's say that. Everything else is great and just keep an eye on the prices and know your products. They also send coupons around three times a year and they are date specific but really good deals so on top of every day savings if you had those in when you get them you can do really well here. Hey and just remember, you got to bring your own bags! Well they have some boxes once you pay and they put everything back in your basket for you there are some boxes that their products come in but other than that just bring your own bags and bag up your own groceries and you're ready to go! Now they do sell bags I should say that and they're only like 3 cents for a typical plastic grocery bag or I think six or seven cents for a bigger more heavy duty plastic grocery bag and then there's the one cashier dude who just will give them to you for free if you're lucky so...

The Employees here don't greet their Customers. When I was done with shopping, I went to the Registers & put the items on Belt to be scanned. The girl working just started scanning the items without saying a word to me as if I wasn't even there. I spoke up and said "I'm doing Great Today, Thank You for asking" She then looked up and laughed. I told her that it is her job to ask the customers how they are doing, If they found Everything okay, Etc. She then laughed again. I told her that I wanted to speak to her Manager and she just pointed to the Register next to hers again, without saying anything. I them walked up to that Register and asked the Guy if He is the Manager in which he Replied "Yes". I told him about the Situation and all he said was "Ok". I informed him that I was going to do a Review Online about the Incident and he came out from behind the Register yelling saying "Are you Threatening Me"? I then told him I wasn't Threatening him and I'll just do a Review Online and he put his hands up as if he was ready to fight & said "Whatever Sweet Cheeks". Very Poor Customer Service as well...
