All people who use Pharmacies on a regular basis need to read this review:
Recently, i was put into a position of caretaking for a very elderly person; which also required helping with all of the medication needs: organizing them, properly giving them, and reordering them. Before this task, i had zero exposure to the "Pharmaceutical" world~ {never needed to take a drug of any kind, for anything, my entire life}. So, "refilling some prescriptions" was an entirely foreign experience for me. Plus, dealing with all the various medical "offices", that worked with the patient i took care of, was not ever particularly enjoyable..
That's when 'Jilli', of Walgreens, Inverness, FL, came to my rescue!!..
For, i was faced with a prescription-refilling dilemma that required me to do some sort of insurance follow-up, that i had no clue how to do. But Jilli went the extra mile for me, and took care of the problem in a short time, that would have taken me, whoknowshowlong {if i would have even been able to get it done, at all}.
A couple days later, i was in position to pick the prescriptions up. And so, i went there on the 28th of October, about 6:30p.m.
When i got to Walgreens, i did not have a line ahead of me, and so, they helped me very readily. As i waited, i watched intently as each Pharmacy staff member did their work. In a very short period of time, my jaw literally dropped in utter amazement to the phenomenal professionalism and composure of each member, as they dealt with their on-going extraordinary time limitations, requests, and demands--- that seemed to just keep mounting, in my perspective.
For each one of the staff members, the requirements placed on them were seemingly constantly pressing, needed, and coming from virtually every direction: the telephone, new walkins, the drivethru, and all of the various considerations that had to be constantly taken into account just to carefully and properly handle the critically important materials. And all without running into, or tripping over, each other in the process!! And, yet, not one of them appeared rattled nor even stressed throughout.
'Surgeons aren't even under this kind of pressure!!', i thought to myself, as i absolutely marveled in admiration at all of their incredible, professional composure, adeptness and dexterity.
These people, that work in this line of business, do not get a fraction of the credit that they deserve. It's hightime people truly recognize the incredible responsibility and obligation these workers have on their shoulders--- to the point, really, that those responsibilities and obligations are almost unreasonable and unrealistic.
We all need to deeply appreciate that.
All of my respect and admiration to you Pharmacy employees at Walgreens, Inverness, FL. Again, i applaud you.
We, the residents of Inverness, are fortunate to have you.
thank...
Incompetence is the only word that comes to mind in regards to the pharmacy at this store. My family and I recently moved back to Citrus County from Ocala and the first time I tried to use this pharmacy it was a terrible experience. I had a new prescription called in, the quantity was written for a 30 day supply. I received a automated phone call to inform me that my prescription was being delayed, so I call the store. The issue was that apparently I āchecked the boxā for all of my prescriptions to be filled for a 90 day supply and this new prescription was only for 30. I was transferred to the pharmacy, I thought I was speaking with the pharmacy, when āthe pharmacyā finally answered the phone I explained what I was just told by the previous employee. Well, they couldnāt find my prescription anywhere, it was as if they thought I was making it up and wasting their time. Needless to say I was unable to get it filled, because they were unable to locate any new prescription in their system. Later that evening I received an email stating that my prescription was being delayed, same as the automated phone call. I took my phone to the store this next morning hoping that showing them the email would help them find my prescription. Well, it did, I was told that it had been removed from their system and that they would have to call the physician to get authorization for a new prescription. I said no, walked out, called my doctors office and explained the situation and asked them to send the prescription to the Walgreens on 17th Street in Ocala which I have been using for the past three years. They sent it, I received another automated phone call, I called that store, and they had it taken care of in a matter of seconds. I now drive from Inverness to Ocala to use the Walgreens there, it is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreYeah donāt know how long Iām staying at Walgreens for my prescriptions. I had a script sent in on Monday afternoon. Never received a call about it being ready. Called Tuesday only to be told that it looks the my insurance only covers a 30 days supply,(ordered apparently for 50), she corrected that and told me it would be ready in a hour. That was at :3:40pm. At 7:58 I finally call them as I hadnāt received a text telling me it was ready. A lady comes on and tells me to come on over and they will have it ready for me. 8:34pm, while sitting in the drive thru, the same lady calls me back to tell me it canāt be filled as ordered. I said how come itās been over 24 hours and no one reached out to me in regards to this? She canāt say what was done prior to our conversation and what she just found out. Arenāt you the same person who just told me to head right over, because Iām currently sitting in your drive thru. Never once apologized just kept staying that that she couldnāt speak for what happened prior to our conversation. Okay so how long was it going to take for someone to reach out to me. Because Iāve called three times in regards to this and now itās over 24 hours and Iām only finding this out...
