Batteries Plus — Local services in Jackson Township

I bought a car batter on January 1; 2023. On June 2 the batter died. Aaa jumped and tested it as a failed battery as did autozone. Batteries plus d would only accept their test which was the same as autozone.

They read the test the same way but we’re unable to exchange it because they needed to charge it first. They told me to jump it and take out the battery and bring it back for charging the they could see what could be done.

After seeing I was not leaving they said they could take it out and hook it up to their chargers but it could take hours. I said fine and wished to remain.

Knowing it was warm I offered to go to ntb and get the battery and they could just refund the battery. But they said without charging it no.

After a few minutes I heard them in the back say just put a new battery in and they did.

Their 800 number said I was wrong for not always charging the battery when not in use as how many do this. They suggested buying a battery and taking the $145 loss.

They were trying to sell another battery rather than lose money on a failed one. It was not until they noticed I was not leaving and was not going to buy a new one that they finally honored the two years warranty .

If you are getting a battery stick with autozone advance oreilly. They will stand behind...

I was looking for an odd battery that it looked like I was going to have to order, but I ran upon this store that happened to be real close to me. I called them, and they said absolutely bring in the battery, and they will match it up. I did, and they did as well. Turns out today was actually their opening day, and I was their first customer!! How cool is that? They were super helpful. They have all kinds of batteries from car batteries to remote control car batteries! They also have cell phone stuff, and do repairs on phones and stuff too! I will definitely be back. Thanks...

Purchased a battery and less than 2 weeks later it it’s dead. Called and was told because it’s in a used state there are no returns and I don’t have the original packaging.

Was even advised by the person that answered the phone that this specific lithium battery is known to have issues and “needs woken up, aka charged” in order to provide power to start the machine…. Why the heck would a brand new battery go into a sleep mode and need woken up in order to start a dirtbike, pretty counter intuitive! Will not be going back here and if I were you I’d stay well...
