Don’t sent your packages to this store!!! They rip you off!!! I had ordered 3 things on Amazon as one big delivery. As a pick up point i chose the UPS store in Jackson as it was most convenient since we are travelling around the country. I got an email saying one part of the package will arrive on thursday, the other part on friday. No problem so far. So we pick up the first part on thursday. The guy behind the counter tells us it’s 10 dollar holding fee. The package was literally just delivered by UPS and was not even 10 min in the store. So the next they we go to pick up the second part of the package. That part is worth 9 dollars. The UPS truck is there and i see them deliver the package. I immediatly go to ask my package so indon’t have to pay this ridicoulous 10 dollar holding fee for something that cost 9 dollars. I don’t stand a chance….i have to pay 10 dollars for something that is not even worth 10 dollars. What a rip off!!!! They are not friendly at all. They can hardly read your name when you show them your passport because he came twice with the wrong package. I could have easily taken somebody else his package as they don’t even check….. I visited the UPS in Jackson on Broadway on Saturday morning of December 17th and was helped out by CRAIG. I had two packages both that cost about $35 to mail; one was going to Naperville, Illinois and the other to Lancaster, Ohio. CRAIG explained to me that the package being delivered to Naperville was guaranteed for Saturday, December 24 and the package being delivered to Lancaster was guaranteed to be delivered the Tuesday before Christmas. I even remember saying to him that I was surprised the package being delivered to Illinois would arrive later than the package to Ohio. Again he told be guaranteed delivery by Tuesday, December 20th.
CRAIG was wrong and the package to Lancaster is actually guaranteed delivery by the Tuesday after Christmas, December 27th. If I had known the package was going to arrive after Christmas, I would not have bothered to send it.
Thanks CRAIG! This was a specific gift to actually be enjoyed as a family on Christmas Day. So not only will my family have nothing to open from me but I have wasted money on the gift and shipping. Icing on cookie…I will have baby before they receive their package. You are...
Read moreTerribly disappointed at the customer service at this store. The young adults/ teenagers employed here, leave me feeling frustrated and like my package has been lost….again.
My packages have been lost multiple times when being delivered directly to the store. You would think shipping ups to ups would be perfectly fine especially because they charge you $5 for a pick up.
Every time my package says “delivered” I go in and the young staff “look” for my package and come back saying, it isn’t there, or they say it’s at staples. Then I go on a wild goose chase looking for the package and end up finding out it was indeed at the UPS store, The first location I tried.
The staff wanders around aimlessly in the back barely looking at the boxes for your name. If they even do that. Most of the time they type in the tracking number and tell me it’s not there, without even checking. Then days later they call me and say it is there.
If you want to waste hours of your time and test your patience then I’d highly recommend them.
