I had the worse experience coming here, I called all morning and got no answer. I showed up and before approaching the window the girls in the front said “ we’re out of hockey skates” I then asked if they had regular skates she said yes I found that very unwelcoming and as a business owner I know I wouldn’t want my employees welcoming anyone with kind of greeting. They made it seem as if they didn’t want people coming in , I asked why no one was answering the phones and she said they’ve had a busy day. Unfortunately as I was approaching the window both girls were standing there laughing and on their phones. As soon as we walked into the ring we had a security lady who apparently have very low verbal skills. She was pointing and physically touching/holding back people instead of guiding and EXPLAINING what to do. This is not a place for children. Not the way I wanted to spend my Saturday night, please stay away from this place very negative energy you do not want to spend your time here. Wish I could...

This is the best rink in New Jersey Presently it is under construction in need of new compressors, equipment, keep your eyes out for when it will reopen The figure skating coach N., is kind, understanding, great quality, gets all to reach they're goals. Her patience is a virtue ,she is loved by all. The figure skating coach is teaching off ice training classes presently children are just loving her classes. First and foremost 5 stars for when it was in operation.

Unfortunately this ice rink has not been opened in a few years, since 2022, something to do with not enough funding for the repairs. Jersey City Rec had ice skating classes a few years ago and now it is temporarily closed. Also it was home to a few hockey teams that are now without a rink. I will definitely change the rating once it is repaired. In order to ice skate now one would either have to go to Newport Skates in downtown, Secaucus Ice Rink or the Rink at American Dream Mall 😞 ⛸️
