CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Jersey City

I would double check your medication before going home, the pharmacists here are not careful with the care instructions of the medication. I picked up a strong medicated cream. I took it home expecting to use it only to find out that I needed a special type of bandage (occlusive dressing). The box clearly states it as a note to the pharmacist (see picture), but the pharmacist said my doctor should have told me. I told her that not warning people about this is dangerous but she rolled her eyes at me and told me to pick the bandages up on isle 15. This is not just unprofessional, it is DANGEROUS to not properly prepare the medication for use. Since I picked up my medication in a brown paper bag and it was not in the “Important Information” box, I didn’t see the warning before...

I'm honestly blown away by the high ratings for this place. The store itself (the selection, the prices ect.) are in line with any CVS but I've never had a good experience at the pharmacy here. The employees have a nice disposition and are friendly but no one, and I mean no one, every picks up the phone if you call the pharmacy. As I type this I've been on hold for thirty minutes. If they do, they'll tell you a prescription is filled and ready for pick up or will be ready at a certain time and it never is. I've shown up 1 - 2.5 hours after they said something would be ready for pick up and I have never not waited. Every time I come here to pick up a prescription I wait at least an hour. I'm moving my prescriptions because its just too much...

Do not go to the pharmacy here! I had my prescription at another cvs that called me and said it was out of stock, they said would call 88 morgan street asked if they had it in stock and they said yes. I received a call to tell me there mistake and said they do not have it would call around and see who would have it, they called me back said that another cvs did have it in stock and would transfer it there I went to pick it up and they said she called but did not send prescription to find out she deleted my prescription.
