Je & Ce Spa is a wonderful cozy spa in Downtown Jersey City. The Massage Therapists Jessica and Mia are so good. Their hands are so divine. I had massages from Jessica before who is talented and gifted she knows to alleviate aches and stress from the body and mind. This spa is clean, neat and the prices are excellent. It's been awhile since I had a full body massage. I woke up with my back stiff and hurting with every movement I made. I called Jessica and she was able to squeeze me in last minute. She remembered me even though I had not been there in awhile. At 8 pm she gave a very strong and wonderful massage. The pressure was excellent and her energy was phenomenal. She is there in the morning to closing and she is always giving massages. I am always amazed at her dedication of giving a great massage no matter what time of day or evening massage. I left there last night feeling relaxed and my body was not so tight anymore. Please try, you will not be disappointed. As far as people complaining about giving tips after a massage, that's very wrong especially when you receive a wonderful experience. I came here at the recommendation of several friends, and had the best massage of my life. I work out regularly at high intensity and sometimes depend on getting massages to recover from extreme soreness, and Lisa’s massage hit the spot! I came in terribly sore, unable to sit properly and left feeling relaxed, soreness mostly gone, and the next day I woke up good as new! Don’t let the petite ladies fool you, they have some strong hands that’ll have you begging for mercy if you’re not ready for the “hard” massage. If there’s any problem areas you’d like addressed, tell them, otherwise they go through their usual routine. Lisa worked on my back and the back of my legs at my request, and finished me off with hot stones and stretching, which honestly is a lot more than I usually expect for a standard 60 min massage. Worst massage I’ve ever experienced in my life. From it being very painful to the unprofessionalism. My body is now soar 2 hours later and I went to relieve pain instead left in pain. I was at first relaxed but my masseuse phone kept ringing and she would answer then leave the room in between massing me. She did not wash her hands after leaving the room nor did she apologize for the inconvenience she just continued to work on me. I also asked if she could be less harsh while massaging me but instead laughed along with her other worker as they worked on me and my sister. This was my first time going to this place and I went in with hopes of it being a place I can go to locally but I was wrong. The prices are decent but definitely not worth it.
