I am a regular here, but my recent experience has been very disappointing. I booked an appointment for Qiqi treatment, which usually takes about the same time as a Keratin treatment. However, when I was given a time slot, it didn't include enough time for my treatment. After finishing, I came back home, and by my third wash, my hair was frizzy and all over the place. After paying around $400, you can imagine my disappointment and frustration.

During the treatment, when Jason suggested using a blow dryer instead of a straightener to seal the treatment, I said that was okay, even if it took longer or made my hair too straight. I just wanted my hair to be frizz-free and soft. He assured me it would be the same. Additionally, he did not completely wash out the treatment from my hair, asking me to wash it off the next day. He had someone right after me so I guess he just rushed through everything. Although I had my doubts, I trusted my stylist, as he is usually very good. Initially, it seemed fine, and I was happy that my time and money were well spent. But after exactly two more washes, my hair returned to its original frizzy state.

I have been using Qiqi shampoo and conditioner, but none of it has worked. I spoke to other professionals, and their descriptions of the treatment did not match how mine was done. It is extremely frustrating to hear this, and the fact that the treatment didn't work, despite the high cost, is what frustrates...

Honestly the only reason I am giving it a 2 star is because their customer service is great, and my first visit with Fari was AMAZING. The second visit however, 😫 I left crying, and I have never left a salon in tears before. I asked for a COOL TONED balayage/foilayage, I showed MULTIPLE reference and the stylist made it seem like he knew what he was talking about and he could get me to something very similar to my reference (which was an ashy cool tone blonde/brown). Unfortunately that was not the case, I left the salon with VERY warm toned hair AND the blowout left my hair frizzy and NOT SMOOTH (I could’ve done a better job myself) also there was sections in my hair that weren’t blow dried properly either. Just disappointed bc I was very excited to get my hair done for my event that night. Only upside was that the stylist did not charge me for my service.
