Trove — Local services in Juneau

I was introduced to this precious gem hidden in a valley of Alaskan jewelry stores last summer. I have spent the last 6 years years working on boats up here in Alaska and in the first few moments I walked in the door, I knew Trove was going to be one of my top favorite stores. It's so refreshing and is not your "typical" gift shop! The products are spot on and current with trends. I wish I could buy up the store and ship it all home. But its not just about the eclectic finds, funny nick knacks, books, scarves you could wrap yourself up in and hand made local coffee mugs . It's the staff. Meghan is absolutely amazing. She takes the time to get to know you, offers to ship items home and is over all just a great person. Had a short visit in this lovely store while on a cruise. The store offers beautiful, unique gifts and is so much more than your typical souvenir shop - it was honestly a refreshing change from the variety of t-shirt, cheap touristy shops throughout Alaska. This was my most favorite gift shop in all of Juneau. The trouble with the other gift shops was that they were either selling the same things that the other gift shops were selling or they had pushy sales people.
