My boyfriend and I went to Shane Co. today to look at engagement rings. It was the second jewelry store we went to and we were just trying to get ideas and price ranges. The inside of the store was beautiful. They were checking temperatures on the way into the store and had a mask and sanitizer station at the front of the store. When we first came in we were immediately greeted by the attendant and asked to wait for a few minutes while they got an associate to assist us. The wait did not take longer than two minutes and we were paired with Harvey. Harvey started by asking us if we had been looking at rings already and really listened to what I did and did not like. They were enforcing the 6ft social distancing while still giving customers the ability to browse the store. Harvey was open, honest, and upfront about the way the store was ran. Their employees do not work for commission, so I didn't have to worry about them trying to push the most expensive ring. He asked for our price range and my preferences and showed us a nice repertoire of what they had available. While helping us pick a ring he really made us feel special, he asked about our story of meeting and gave us his story of working at Shane Co. when we asked him. I'm not a fan of diamonds and he showed us the variety of sapphires they had. When I wanted a lighter shade, he found a lighter shade and never made me feel like I was troubling him as he had to constantly come and go to find the right shade for me. We had gone to Jared before going to Shane Co. and although the experience at Jared was good, our sales associate was divided between us and another customer. At Shane Co. Harvey was helping only us which made the experience more valuable. The pricing was also much better and affordable for what we were wanting. Although we didn't plan on buying a ring today, we found the ring that was just perfect for me. They had a variety of payment options and Harvey clearly explained the lifetime warranty as well as the options for payment. I'm really looking forward to having the finished in product in hand. Read moreI came into ShaneCo looking for advice and direction for an issue of how low the setting was on my engagement ring that was purchase through another jeweler company. The issue was that due to the low setting, my wedding band was not able to sit flush against each other. I spoke with Alex and discussed my concerns about my ring and what i was looking for. I informed him that the jeweler of which the ring was purchased from, told me there was nothing they could do. Alex provided me with many options for my ring but i couldn’t decide at the moment. I became desperate and chose a different route with my ring and took it to another jewelery store. I ended up receiving it back from the other jeweler and was very unhappy. i panicked and something told me to return to ShaneCo.
I went back to ShaneCo and as soon as I entered, coincidentally, Alex was the one to assist me once again. I showed him the result of my engagement ring from having work done on it at a different jeweler and how unhappy i was with the result. He took the time to show me options once again and educate me. He introduced me to a beautiful setting and set of prongs and said we could use my diamond to place into the new setting that is higher and would achieve the flush look of the engagement ring and wedding band that i was going for. The best part was that this was all able to be completed in 2 days.
I picked up my ring and the outcome of the design was stunning! I didn’t think such a disaster could come with a smile but thanks to ShaneCo and Alex, I am beyond happy with the result! The customer service here at the Kennesaw location is beyond my expectations and they truly care!...
