End of the Road — Local services in Key West

ZERO Stars: Many recent reviews regarding a racist, xenophobic, and antisemitic cashier in this store have not moved this business to fire her, so I doubt my experience will move them to do the right thing either. Bottom line, then, is that she represents the views of this business or is part of ownership. This disrespectful woman felt the need to keep disparaging our government for no reason while I was there on my second visit today shopping. I don’t think anything on my part reminded her of Washington DC or the U.S. government. While checking out, I asked her if they offered a military discount, she immediately looked at me and said they did but she KNEW I wasn’t in the military as I had a beard. Imagine Chris Kyle standing there instead of me. Would she have reacted the same way then? Obviously it wasn't the beard but the color of my skin. She continued with her rant even after seeing my retired military ID and called me a DICK in front of my children as I was leaving the store and following us out she repeatedly yelled that she knew I wasn’t/hadn’t been in the military. As I said, none of this will change anything snd she will continue to disparage and disrespect patrons as she is obviously the mouthpiece of the business. I love Key West and regularly visit it. I just won’t go to this store again. And I suggest to everyone: Do Not Do Business with...

Wow if I could give it negative stars I would.... it was a nice store but the Staff was something left to be desired. Was on a staycation from north FL with the family and wanted to buy some Souvenirs and some sun shirts. we rolled in 20min till close and some used the rest room while others gathered their items. But I guess the employee had a different plan and I quote "you guys need to get the he'll outta here I'm closing" MY RESPONSE "I'm sorry we just needed to use the rest room and get some sun shirts." Her response... "I don't care.... I wasn't supposed to work today, and if you don't leave now security will be through her." My response... "sorry you're having a bad day." Then she said "just leave cause key west'ers just don't care." Well to me it is very clear that she should not be in the service industry cause she doesn't care.... and she had the audacity to harp on my wife by saying "did ya have a good s*$t in there.... next time I'll make ya clean it...." she said to my wife upon almost throwing here out. And my wife had no clue any of this was happening cause she was in the rest room.

I'm not sure who the the employee was... I just know she was filling in for someone who was out...

But if this is the kinda peeps the store owner hire then take you money somewhere else so you may have a pleasant shopping experience...

Extremely disrespectful and horrible staff worker, had tried to find a bathroom for blocks and couldn’t until reached this shop, the worker said they were about to close but didn’t stop me from using the restroom. Upon me entering, she disrespected my wife and kept muttering racial slurs under her voice! If it wasn’t a public bathroom all she had to do was say so and I would’ve walked away!
