I would definitely not recommend this business. I tried to set up something special for my husband while he was visiting the keys with friends for his 40th birthday. Not only was it extremely difficult to touch base with her but once I did she was horrible at following up. After going back and forth for days trying to narrow something down I sent her a final message on the Tuesday before his trip to ask the final price and how she accepted payment. No answer. I sent a follow up message asking if she got the first the next day. She said once she got back to the office she’d get with me on payment. She never did. I should t have to chase after someone to give them money so I assumed she was too busy with other work since she constantly was telling me she’s the only employee that she didn’t have time for me. And since I hadn’t paid her I sought out other companies. With them leaving Friday it was too short notice with other companies so I told my husband about what I’d tried to do to surprise him and how difficult it had been. After not hearing from her for over 48 hours on Friday, after my husband had already checked into his hotel she tried contacting me about not being able to get in. I told her how I didn’t think she was going to assist me anymore and that he was already in so my surprise would no longer work. I didn’t hear anything from her. My husband and friends called me saying that she had delivered items and had refused to leave until they paid her. Not only did she not deliver what was spoken about but she did not contact me regarding payment and pestered my husband and friends who had nothing to do with the arrangement for payment. After I heard this I contacted her and all she could say was she appreciated the feedback. I can not understand how you would run a business this way. Apparently she really needed the money regardless of the terrible service and customer service that was provided. If I could file a complaint or give negative stars and ratings on this I would. Great concept, terrible owner. Website showed 3 large coolers, I needed 24qt or less so called in case there were other sizes than on the website. The response was “yes” that they had 24qt or less coolers. Once there, the large cooler was brought out that was clearly too large (matched the large ones on the website where the smallest was 40qt). The lady made several comments about being so busy, how could I know the size of the cooler by a picture on her site, that if she had more notice she would have been more prepared. She finally dug out a smaller cooler available for $10, I asked her about returning it, she said she was open until midnight. I called after our fishing cruise around 8pm & left a voicemail asking if I could return the cooler. Next day after no response we went to the place during business hours - she wasn’t there similar to the previous day. We left the cooler with $10 at the side door of the business and called her to let her know. She told me that in key west anything left at the door is considered “garbage” and went on a ramble saying she’ll be back soon. We waited outside the store front until she was back. After more of her rambling about the cooler being left as garbage, I had had enough, I told her I called last night to return and received no response, hotel was far away so I had to drop off when her storefront was “open” despite her never being there. In the most rude way she told us not to get too much sun (we were clearly burnt). To the lady: Hire 1 or 2 helpers so you can work on your customer service skills, stop complaining how busy you are & allow customers to easily return items. Return phone calls and stop the...

I'm so conflicted as I write this review. Trying to decide between a 2 and a 3 star review. Ultimately the gift I sent for my family's anniversary celebration in Key West was well-received and very unique - which is exactly what I was going for. HOWEVER, the communication with Kathy is challenging at best. She seems to be a one-woman show and takes on all tasks but ends up very scattered through the process and has some misses. I gave her my list of "wants" and "wishes" as a starting point for the gift. She ended up running around and buying a bunch of the stuff - calling me then telling me she was too busy to talk and then she sends a picture of the package as a done deal. Again, very cool and unique. HOWEVER she never gave me an estimate of the cost!!!!! Granted she could produce all of her receipts but still - no estimate and I felt bad about making any changes since she'd already purchased everything. She refuses to provide an invoice - actually makes you feel like you're offending her by asking - but she expects you to provide your credit card number to her over the phone to pay for it. I did get a picture of all the receipts so I guess I shouldn't complain. Cool idea - and a great way to get a unique gift to someone staying in Key West. But whew! It's...
