My husband and I recently stayed at the Almond Tree Inn in Key West, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The hotel is centrally located just steps from Duval Street, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions.||We arrived early, and Trudy at the front desk was wonderful. She not only gave us great suggestions for lunch but also offered to call us as soon as our room was ready. Even though we arrived in early, the hotel kindly held our bags for us while we walked around and had lunch, which made things so convenient. A couple of hours later, we received the call and were greeted by Cary, who was equally amazing. He showed us around the property, walked us up to our room, and explained all the amenities including concierge services, breakfast, and happy hour. He was so attentive and helpful.||Our room was immaculate, quiet, and very spacious. We stayed in a second-floor King Suite room overlooking the pool, which was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room felt like a relaxing retreat. Being an adults-only hotel added to the peaceful atmosphere.||The hotel grounds were just as impressive—lush, well-maintained, and with a lovely pool area. Parking was spacious and secure, which gave us peace of mind. Once we parked our car, we mostly walked everywhere or used Uber, which was very convenient.||Even though the weather wasn’t great during our trip, we still had an amazing time thanks to the comfort of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Everyone we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel welcome.||We absolutely recommend the Almond Tree Inn to anyone visiting Key West. We had a wonderful stay and look forward...
Read moreWe couldn't have asked for more from this wonderful, small, upscale boutique hotel. It's quiet, comfortable, and beautiful...a true tropical paradise. It feels so secluded when you're on property that you'd hardly know that you're less than a block off Duval. The staff is wonderful. Pleasant, helpful, and they bent over backwards to make sure all our needs were met. The recommendations they gave us for some of the local spots around town were spot on.
Everything is updated: rooms, bathrooms, grounds, and pool. Everything is nicely appointed and very clean, including the pool and surrounding grounds. They include a continental breakfast and happy hour each day. They have all the regular amenities you'd expect (fridge, coffee maker, microwave, etc, etc). They have bikes for rent (w locks, etc), but it's also easy to rent elsewhere if you want e-bikes, motor scooters, etc. They have on-site parking, though they do add a daily charge for it (honestly, it's worth it).
Location-wise, it's toward the quieter end of Duval (at Truman) though you're still within walking distance to absolutely everything (
Read moreWe had an amazing stay at the Almond Tree Inn. From the minute we arrived, the agent at the front desk was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very beautiful and well kept. The owner Bill has put a lot of work in delivering nice and clean rooms. Breakfast is included in the price and was great. Bill, Peter and the other members of the staff were so friendly. We felt like we had know them for a long time. There is a complimentary happy hour from 5-7:00 pm daily. And we got some vouchers for a few drinks too (to be used outside of happy hour). One of our family members is in a wheelchair and they gave him the ADA room: it was perfect. There is a roll-In shower and they even brought a chair so that he could shower while sitting on that chair. There is a Keurig in the rooms with complimentary coffee pods. (Even chocolates and bottled water were provided upon arrival). The grounds are very lush. You can tell that the owner is passionate about his place. Almond Tree Inn is located 5 min walk from the beach and the famous southernmost point. Only 30 seconds walk from Duval street (Main Street). You can park your car at the hotel and just walk around without using your car during your stay (big plus for us). We will be back for sure. We used to go to another hotel but Almond Tree inn will now be our first choice when going to Key west. And if this hotel has no availability, we also recommend Orchid Inn, which is the second hotel owned by the owner of Almond tree inn. We went there for a drink (it’s across the street) and it offers the same level of service and quality. Thank you for everything. We...
