I have been a customer for years. But I will no longer go to this location. The last time I shopped there, I went to purchase a bench. When I walked in I noticed a grey bench for 50% off. There was a lady standing in front of the bench when I walked over, we talked for a few seconds about the bench and she inquired if the white and brown bench was on sell too. I went and grabbed a few things and the lady was still standing in front of the benches, she asked me if the boxes had benches in them as well. I went over and spoke with a sales person (who I later found out was Beth the store manager) I asked about the boxes and was informed they did not contain benches. I inquired about the price on both benches and was informed that only the gray bench was on sell (keep in mind that during this whole conversation the other lady never moved nor made an inquiry about the bench) so I informed her I intended to purchase the bench and she took off the tag. I go on to do more shopping next thing I know Beth comes to me and informs me that the other lady was standing there first. Long story short she treated me like I had done something wrong by wanting to purchased the bench, and the audacity to apologize to the other women because I would not give her the bench. She all but said I shouldāve given her the bench because she was white and was black. If I had been a white person that situation would have been way different.
