Disney's Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs is a sweet lover's paradise, offering a variety of delicious treats and confections. The store's whimsical, witch-themed decor adds to the enchanting experience, making it a fun stop for all ages. From freshly made caramel apples to gourmet chocolates and classic candies, there's something to satisfy every craving. I have tried many different treats from this location over the years. It has been a staple since the when the area was Downtown Disney. This past time though, I was a bit disappointed in what I purchased. Disney has made a new variation of the Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich. In this version, it is two chocolate Mickey cookies with Mint Chocolate Chip buttercream frosting in between them. I’ve been waiting weeks to try them because they were out last time. Disney even made a merch line that goes along with it. Well, it tasted like plastic and the worst fake mint. I had my best friend try it as well to make sure it wasn’t just me and she had to spit it out. Maybe I got a bad batch. But, the other treats I’ve had have all been delicious. However, be prepared for crowds, especially during peak times, which can make browsing a bit hectic due to the store being quite small. Despite this, the friendly staff and delightful array of sweets make Disney's Candy Cauldron a must-visit for a...
Read moreCandy Cauldron is a popular stop for many in Disney Springs- first of all, it’s a dessert shop. This attracts people as it is. But Disney-themed desserts, at DISNEY springs?? Well then, might as well wait 45 minutes to get something here, totally worth it!!!!
But in seriousness, this place is always crazy busy, which is why I never stopped in until now. I still did wait in line to go, because with covid they’re only allowing so many in the store at a time, but the line was at least slightly less ridiculous compared to normal so we decided to just do it.
They really do have a ton of disney desserts. My friend got the classic caramel apple, but Mickey style, which is pretty darn cute. She loved it, though caramel apples are known to be difficult to eat in general. I wanted something more plain, so I got a Mickey marshmallow stick that was supposed to be pineapple flavored. Albeit, it was pretty good! And had a tiny hint of pineapple in the frosting covering the marshmallow and I quite enjoyed it!
At some point I’d love to come back here again and try one of the cookies. Those looked pretty good too. The only thing, that stops me from giving 5 stars is the price. Like everything disney all the treats were wayyyy overpriced, but people pay it so it stays that way. I suppose it’s fun for a...
Read moreA very cute and aesthetically pleasing candy shop in Disney Springs. My partner and I bought the four caramel flights and the Hades spicy milk chocolate bar. Both were fantastic. I was surprised how good the spicy jalapeño chocolate was, you didn’t take much of the jalapeño taste, which is ok because it didn’t mask the chocolate flavor, but the spice itself was very real. Definitely will be buying again. The caramel flights were some of the best caramel I have had, you could tell it was real authentic melt-in-your-mouth caramel. The staff were amazing and you could tell they enjoyed working there. They were all very pleasant. There was a group of kids in front of us and the staff did a good job playing out that the “witch just made the candy apples”, which I thought was cute and great...
