Update: Bought a new pair of glasses, had a piece fall off not even 24 hours of wearing them. Not only could the woman not help me, had zero knowledge of customer support or options to help me. Saw I was upset and treated it like a joke with no sympathy what so ever. Never returning to this store again.
To be honest this is just as much as my review of the MSK3 as it is the store, but the Oakley website denied my review, so I'm going to post it here and the only reason I gave them two stars instead of 1 was because they refunded me without an argument, not sure if it was because of customer service or they just didn't care...
Dissapointing... So on top of the fact that I got this to wear sunglasses without them fogging and that's the one main feature about this mask, it doesn't work, glasses still fogged up. On top of that I was guaranteed that I could wear this on Disney property by an employee at Disney Springs, that was false as well, the only good side of this whole deal was they refunded me without question. Need some major tweaks, in the mean time wait till they make this product better...
Read moreConfession, I LOVE Oakley sunglasses and have for many years but have been to cheap to buy a pair for myself. My wife and daughter mocked me incessantly to "Just go buy them". The staff were funny and played along with them. In the end I spent more money than I really wanted to, but that's on ME, not them. They're totally worth the price. The sales person tried to convince me to by a warranty that seemed kind of odd...spend $20 for a warranty so that if the glasses get scratched you can replace them for $40 instead of paying full price for lenses. Not really sure how much of a discount that'd be but I was already stressing about spending $200 on a luxury item for myself, so she took it easy on me. (Thankfully). In the end it was an enjoyable experience. Now I am going to put these sunglasses in the safe and never wear them. Once in a while I'll open the safe and look at them, longingly, through a pair of $9 knock-offs and wonder when it will be okay to ACTUALLY wear...
Read moreWe visited the Disney Springs Oakley store while on vacation because my nephew is a big fan of Oakleys. We were greeted by two very nice employees and assisted by Veronica. My nephew wasn't quite sure what he wanted so she helped him narrow down his choices by features, styles and availability. She even tried to find items on sale and items online at a cheaper price that she could price-match. He ultimately decided what style he wanted based the customizable options. Veronica was able to "build" his sunglasses exactly how he wanted them in under 10 minutes and we had a great conversation while she did it and ensured he was happy with the way they looked and felt before we checked out. There's a reason Disney's customer service is second to none and while this may not be a "Disney" store, Veronica's high level of customer service and professionalism makes this just another part of the Disney experience. 20/10...
