If you're a chocolate lover, then The Ganachery at Disney Springs in Orlando is a must-visit destination, and if you're lucky, you'll get to meet the charming and knowledgeable Sheila. During our recent visit, Sheila's impeccable service and profound knowledge of chocolate left us in awe.

We arrived at The Ganachery before it opened, and my brother, a self-proclaimed chocolate connoisseur, was eager to learn more about the chocolate they offered. To our surprise, Sheila came outside and greeted us with open arms. Not only did she answer all of my brother's questions about the chocolate, but she did so with such grace and kindness that we knew we had stumbled upon something special.

When we returned to make our purchases later, Sheila's class and professionalism shone through as she expertly guided us through the store's many offerings. Despite being busy, she made us feel like we were the only customers in the store, and her attentiveness and passion for chocolate left a lasting impression.

Flash forward to a few weeks later, we returned to The Ganachery for more delicious chocolate. Despite a photo shoot happening at the store that day, Sheila was patient and attentive to our needs. When we ordered a special chocolate drink that required whipped cream, she went above and beyond to make it happen, even though all of the canisters were being used for the shoot. While we didn't think the whipped cream was necessary, Sheila popped into the back room and said something to the pastry chef and then she asked if we’d ever tried the orange chocolates that were part of our order. We told her that we had not had them before.

She expertly described each chocolate we ordered, from the orange chocolate that hits your palette from the front to the back, to the spicy chocolate that takes a completely different path through your taste buds. She had us completely mesmerized and before we knew it, freshly whipped cream magically appeared for our drinks. And of course, she was right in doing so, because the whipped cream was incredible and worth the wait!

Of course, Sheila's exceptional service didn't stop there. When she learned that we were taking the chocolates home with us, she gave us a cold ice pack to keep them fresh during our two-hour journey. We tried the chocolates at home and followed the steps and experiences that Sheila had described, and it is now officially a family tradition that we will cherish forever.

We can't recommend The Ganachery and Sheila's service enough. Her passion for chocolate, knowledge, and attention to detail truly made our experience one-of-a-kind. We can't wait to return to The Ganachery on our next visit to Disney Springs and to see...

Ahoy, mateys! Gather 'round and listen to a tale of sweet plunder from a land not marked on any map! I speak of Disney Springs, a port filled with treasures, but none finer than The Ganachery, a haven for chocolate lovers and buccaneers with a sweet tooth.

Imagine, if ye will, chocolates made fresh daily, like doubloons forged in a fiery furnace. Each bite a treasure chest overflowing with flavor, these ain't your ordinary cocoa puffs. The squares, oh the squares! They be like jewels, glistenin' in the display case and meltin' in yer mouth faster than a mermaid's kiss.

The shop itself be a marvel of cleanliness, the likes of which I ain't seen since the Isle of Unsweetened Tea. And ye landlubbers who fancy a peek behind the curtain, there be a window where ye can watch the crew – I mean chocolatiers – craftin' their magic. But shiver me timbers, that ain't all! They be makin' the most wondrous s'mores this side of Davy Jones' locker! Golden brown and gooey, a taste fit for a pirate king! I tell ye, it be the finest thing I ever devoured, and that's sayin' somethin' from a man who's dined on kraken and mermaid tail stew!

And a special mention to Peter, a first-rate chocolatier with a heart as big as a galleon. His love for the craft be infectious, his knowledge vast, and his service impeccable. A true buccaneer of the bean, that Peter!

I was just extremely disappointed when I brought a friend here for the first time yesterday. I had been raving about the S’more for months, and with the chilly weather while Christmas shopping at Disney Springs, it seemed like the perfect occasion. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the S’more had been replaced with a peppermint version, and the original S’more was no longer available for purchase. It's puzzling how a chocolate shop with a limited menu could completely remove its signature item without providing the original as an alternative. As someone allergic to peppermint, this left me quite disappointed. Simply substituting the peppermint chocolate with the regular chocolate they likely still have in stock (as a chocolate shop would) could have retained our business. I'm also surprised that despite offering various "Walt Disney World Annual Passholder exclusive chocolates" for purchase throughout the year, there's no discount for annual passholders.
