Bowie Outfitters — Local services in Lake Charles

Don't get anything transferred here. I should have known this process was going to be a pain when I needed FFL documents sent to the store I'm making a purchase from, and the place that I am paying to have my item transferred (Bowie) tells me I have to contact the store myself and get them to send the info needed to Bowie, just to in turn have them send the info back, when all Bowie had to do was just send the documents with my order number and name. After that process, the item was recieved on a Saturday morning. I came to check it on monday and was told the person that does the ffl business "is slow" and check back later. I check 2 days later and I get another excuse. Now I'm told they are on vacation until Monday. So now I have to wait (at least) 9 days from the time my item was delivered until the time I can recieve it. This is just sad. I've had plenty of other items sent to other FFLs and they take care of me promptly. This will be my last time getting anything transferred here, becuase of how nonchalant everybody was and the amount of run arounds given to me about receiving my items. Find another FFL, becuase this is not worth...

Way over priced. No reason to charge so much more than anyone else. The website is the biggest joke. Can click on a link and it takes you to Facebook of all places. How about you update it to show inventory so people know not to waste time driving there. I know it’s a sales tactic to get people in the stores but it’s sad. It’s no wonder Amazon and online retailers are killing stores like this and they deserve it. Why drive 90 minutes to an over priced store when I can get it off Amazon for actual MSRP. Don't go for shoes at this location! You have hunt someone down to help. We were ready to buy 2 pair of shoes but after 20 minutes of waiting for them to come back with the right size we left.
