We joined our friends earlier this evening for dinner at Panda Super Buffet. The price for dinner was $14 per person. We have to say that we were very disappointed with how horrible the food was. Most of the food was all dried up and cold. Vegetables such as broccoli and green beans were all shriveled up and dried out. Fried fish and shrimps were all cold and hard. Noodles were all mushy and cold. the whole buffet line was horrible. When we pointed out that the green beans were all shriveled up and dried out and requested that some fresh ones be made, we were appalled to see that once the fresh green beans were made, the cook added these to the shriveled up ones and mixed everything together just so that the old shriveled up green beans were not tossed out. The food was terrible and the service was just as bad. Our server never came to refill our drinks. There was 1 single server for the whole restaurant. But it gets worse... When the check came, my husband discovered that the restaurant enforced a 10% tip on our ticket even though this place is a buffet and the service was horrible all evening. We saw our server once when we came in and that was after we seated ourselves, the server brought us drinks. 10% forced tips is ridiculous when we got our own food and the server did nothing but bring us our 1 drink. We will not be returning to this place. Not worth the money. Our bill was $52. We could have dined at McDonald for less and had a better dinner. WE DO NOT...
Read moreHorrible experience, me and my wife are both young 27 and we brought our backpacks inside and took them with us everywhere we went while we got food because of sensitive documents. Other people paid at the front but our waiter insisted we pay at the front as if we were going to steal! I worked as a server for almost 10 years last job was fo go de CEO. Waaaaaaaay more upscale than this place. So I understand how it is but to profile us is unacceptable. Second the food score is hidden because it's not visible from the dinners placement even walking in. I could not find it. So it's probably low. Last, the food was tough and overcooked like it had been sitting for a while. I have friends who worked at places like this not to mention I have mentors who are chinnese , so I know what real chinnese food taste like. The quality is better. This was not that. The server had an attitude the whole time and we had to ask another server to get us refills. Will never eat here again. He did not deserve a tip so I did not leave one. Places like this get closed down alot. I hope it...
Read moreEven though I had read a lot of the reviews, a lot of them negative, I decided I would try it out for myself. I was in the area and in the mood for chinese food. When I first walked in I looked around and thought this looked good and the place was clean. However, most of the food was cold. It was around 1:00 pm so I would have thought the food would at least be warm. It wasn't some was cold.. At best it was luke warm. I thought it was a shame because there was a great variety of food and the food I tasted had potential, but luke warm food loses it's flavor and just becomes bland. Also, it is good that I didn't need a refill on my water as the server never came around to check on me. The price was ok no complaints there. Some of the reviews I have read complained of the bathrooms being dirty. I did check out the men's room but they seemed to be clean. All in all, I will not be back, if I want cold chinese food I will pick up some frozen food at my local WalMart. Take a chance if you want to, but, as they say, "buyer beware" As I said I won't be back and...
