STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SOLD ON THE WRONG PRODUCT WITH NO RECOURSE AND LIED TO ABOUT FINANCING. We have done business with Ashley for years and never experienced anything like this. They sold us our last set of split king Twin XL so you would think they know their product. When only replacing one of the mattresses (two twins make up our king) and stressing height had to be the same, turned out it was 2" lower than the other twin (hard to have a king set up with one dipping 2"). Despite being told it was a worry free purchase, had 90 days to see if you like it, turns out you can only UPGRADE and it still wouldn't match height. No returns (told by the manager I should have read the fine print on page 4). You can get the same mattress elsewhere and can return if needed. They lied about warranty only being covered if they sold their double priced mattress covers that Tempurpedic actuallly sells but doesn't require (spoke to the company themselves; you can return to Tempurpedic if going through them btw).
Ashley sells you on a zero percent "installment plan" which consists of them opening a credit card in your name that can easily become a 29% interest if you don't do the math correctly. The corporate office denied they sent me a credit card that I did not want but then reversed that when I read off the terms. Their story then changed to that is how Ashley now does business. It is a bait and switch, clearly false advertising. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and checking with the state on the legality of what they have done. I could have paid for the mattress up front, but chose an installment plan. Now I have the extra headache of paying off and closing their joke of a card which will hit my perfect credit score. They should have disclosed the info they were taking was for a credit card, not an installment loan. First time in 40 years of shopping that I was duped. Ashley lost all future business from us which includes upcoming sales for two rooms in our home. I should add the first time we walked in the store, we walked around for 30 minutes and not once did we see anyone other than sales people visiting in one spot. That should have been our clue not to go back, this store has lost their customer service. On that note, we waited all day for a delivery that didn't come until 4 days later, no notification.    Read moreAround the 15th of May I order a living room set. The associate told me it would come around the 1st of June. I was fine with that since I was moving around the time. I told him can my furniture be delivered on the he said yes he would put it in. Strike one, Fast forward to the end of May, I received an email from Ashley furniture stating that my furniture would be delivered to my house at the end of May. So, I had to drive to the store tell the associate what the email states and he told me I need to call them and set up that date. Mind you when I was buying the furniture he said he would put the date down. Second strike is when my furniture was delivered and only half was delivered. I never was notified of this information. I was livid I drove to the store and waited. Finally an associate acknowledged me and I told her I needed a manager she told me the manager said call this number. Iâm thinking to myself why wonât a manager speak to an unsatisfied guest. I got on the phone and called the number at the store while I waited. The guy who helped me comes up to me and apologized and said we are only doing partial deliveries. Sir, I wasnât notified of this information because if I was I wouldâve went somewhere else. He apologized again and then had the audacity to say please leave a good review. I was speechless and in disbelief. Another associate told me the customer service manager wasnât there and would be there the next day. Last strike, I called and was on hold for at least 30 minutes finally someone came to the phone. He said all managers canât come to the phone but I will get them to call you back, I told him that I need a manager to call me ASAP. As of today I havenât received a call. I wouldnât recommend Ashley furniture to anyone. The associates are sneaky and deceitful. I receive partial furniture but they didnât charge me partially delivery fee. I shouldâve stayed with Home furniture, I didnât have any issues last year when I purchased furniture. They were informative, friendly, and gave great customer service .    Read moreThis has absolutely been the worst buying experience in my 30 years of being on this planet. We purchased a sectional on 11/28/2022 the wrong color sectional shows up on 12/14, a week later the ottoman showed and was the correct color. Called immediately on the 14th and was told it would be picked up and the correct color would be delivered. A couple weeks pass by and I call and they say theyâre weâre holding the couch till the ottoman could be delivered at the same time. I told them I already had the correct ottoman, and they told me they would go ahead and push the sectional to be delivered. A couple more weeks pass and donât hear anything. I call again and theyâre trying to decided at this point whoâs fault it was. The home store or the warehouse. And that until then it could not be delivered. Finally they make their mind up and tell me the âRe-selectionâ was approved. But now the sectional is on back order. Iâm okay with waiting on what we ordered at this point. Called after a week for an update and there is no ETA on the color we originally ordered. I ask for a refund and to reverse the whole transaction and for the sectional to be picked up since they canât seem to get me what we ordered. They seemed to think they could do this even though they repeatedly tell me ârefunds arenât in their policyâ for the re-selection get cancel in place for the refund. Then call to check status and now they of course canât do a refund. Call multiple time since then to speak to the home store and I canât ever get a phone call back. Here we are 04/07/2023 and still nothing. Still the wrong couch. Still no answer from Ashley home store. What are yâall going to do for me in this situation??
