We were a party of 2, seated within 10 minutes even though the restaurant was very crowded. First thing we noticed was it was freezing in here, you could feel air blasting as we walked to our table. Everyone table around us looked miserable, I'm guessing because it was so cold. Waitress was frazzled because of the jam packed restaurant but tried hard. We got drinks and order taken and then sat freezing. We heard the table across from us complain that they were freezing and were told well they won't put the heat on but I will see if they can turn it down. It actually seemed to get colder, the air was blowing right on my face and my nose was froze. Apps came and my soup was barely lukewarm but husband's was hot. The table next to us with 3 kids seemed very unhappy. Turns out they had been in the restaurant an hour and 45 minutes and still no food. All 5 tables around us looked unhappy and had no food. Finally I couldn't stand the cold and told my husband to talk to a manager. He just so happened to be walking by and told us there was an issue and a work order was pending and he would just shut off the air. That solved that problem but we were now at an hour waiting for food. Finally tables around us started to get food. About another 20 minutes we got our food. It looked good and was not cold. I ordered a center cut sirloin and when I cut into it I had a problem. I couldn't cut it I had to saw into it with all my force, it was sooooo tough. It was also under done, basically rare. At this point we had been there close to an hour and a half so I didn't feel I had any choice but to make do because I didn't have another hour to wait if I sent it back. Funny enough at the table across from us i saw someone eating the steak i had ordered and I saw them cutting their streak quite easily. We were traveling and had ate at this Outback previously with a great experience that's why we chose it again. In our hometown we have always had great experiences and never have had a basically inedible steak or freezing cold temps inside a building. Overall it was prob the worse dining experience I have ever had. We ended up spending 2...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to used our wedding gift card at Outback. I ordered the Bacon Bourbon Salmon and he ordered the 9oz sirloin steak. About 3 minutes later our waitress Mary F. came back to our table notifying my husband that they were out of the 9oz steaks so he ordered a size down. While they were talking I recalled a previous experience with a Outback in another location where my salmon was raw on the inside so I told our waitress the short mishap and asked that she make sure my salmon was fully cooked and her response was "Oh sure, yes ma'am " and she went off to the kitchen. When my food arrived, from previous experience, my first reaction is to take my for and break the fish up. To my surprise, despite the discussion between Mary F. and I regarding uncooked food, my fish was raw in the center. I sat and watch my husband eat and I snuck a few bites off of his plate as well. She offered to serve my side of loaded mash potatoes because my fish was coming out in one minute and I agreed. I ate my loaded mash but my fish never came. We also never received our bread and butter which would of helped curve the hunger. After my husband and I both finished eating what was served to us Mary F. came back and said the fish would be a little while longer. My husband asked for the check and to just put the fish in a Togo box when it was done. I should have spoken to a manager regarding this issue because for one it was unacceptable. If someone asks for something well done a minute or two after the order was placed there is plenty enough time to make that request happen. The ball was dropped numerous times and we will not be back and I will also be writing this same review on yelp to let people know how we...
Read moreWe are all wanting to know that we are getting the best deal for our money these days and that includes when you eat out. Most restaurants are short staffed, scaled back hours and raised prices. We have not eaten at this Outback location in a few months, and I wanted to share our experience.
We arrived around 4:45PM on a Saturday to beat the rush and we asked to be seated in the bar area. I am a member of the Dine Rewards program that is available through Outback’s App. I encourage you to sign up for this program.
Our server was Renea. He was prompt and attentive to our needs. We did not order an appetizer, but I recommend the Onion Petals. They are not on the menu but are available. I order a frozen margarita and my husband a dressed Corona. Outback has the best Margaritas in town. Zac, the Bartender was spot on with the drinks.
We placed our order: Alice Spring Chicken, loaded mash potatoes and a salad with Ranch. Center cut sirloin, loaded baked potato and Caesar salad.
The kitchen did an amazing job. We have been eating at this Outback for many years and my husband said that his steak was cooked to perfection.
Dominique Cole was the manager on for the evening. As returning customers it is great to see familiar faces and hers was one of them. She is courteous and kind to all the customers, while remaining professionally observant of her staff.
For those that are looking for a lunch stop, they do have a lunch menu.
Most of the time we decline a dessert, however Outback has great desserts that can easily be shared. Cheesecake was our pick for the evening. It was a...
