Equipment layout is ridiculous. 1 squat rack isnt the smartest idea (need more), no foam rollers, equipments goes missing into other rooms or never seen again. Wifi connection is horrible, and for about 2 years there has been no more music. We have many useless machines but some good ones. Attachment to cable machine's could be better (variety), some are really worn and dont work. We have a decent staff up front except 1 single mean old lady who is still here. The whole environment is pretty low energy. The walls need some revival with all the blue and grey colors they currently have. On going gym members like to tbar row, but they havent looked into an attachment for it. Sauna is broken majority of the time but when it works its decent. However it lacks cleanliness. Personal trainer wise, they have 1 good trainer. Alicia shes awesome and teaches you on what movement your doing etc. The other one is there not explaining anything and looks unhappy. I've been here for 4 years and getting tired of it. Ive watched it go down hill for years. And had constant conversations with the gym director to better this gym he just refuses to be open minded. I'm in here 5 days a week and talk with a lot of people and we all just deal with it because it's the closest gym.

And the simple fact it went from a 5 star gym to 3.2 is ridiculous. So that tells me no one is isnt doing anything to fix the problem who ever is marketing can do better. Not 1 response to the other comments on here from the past years..

On another note I want to see this gym do good. But there needs to...

Went there for years and even volunteered to be a softball coach and brought many guests...Today I bring a guest (who happens to be black) and they did not want to let him in. A 15 year old (my 1/2) brother was harassed for ID and given paperwork along with the nastiest attitude ever. I would never have guessed it if it wasn't first hand. The ppl at the counter immediately asked him why he was there and for ID before I even got to scan my card and say I have a guest. He is so upset that he left some things there but refuses to go back or even let me go back. He had a great time visiting Wisconsin but now we are sitting at home in silence because he does not want to talk about it...Thanks YMCA...and again never had this experience with the counter people over years but I guess I never tried to bring someone...

My wife got a membership here, not just for herself but also for our daughter to take swim classes. Just this past month our daughter was old enough for swim 2, she is 2.5 years old, was told by the Aquatics Instructor, on the second to last class, that my daughter would be better suited for Level 1...which is for 6-18 month olds. Mind you, I have been there for every class, they throw bath toys for the kids to swim after, climb out of the pool and jump in. For spending almost $100 a month for this, I could literally go to a family pool, throw toys. Sorry my child is challenging you as an INSTRUCTOR. It is your job to then rise to the challenge of a kid that was out swimming the 7 other kids, all older then her, because most of them were screaming amd crying, when my child took to the water...
