Geneva Upscale Consignment — Local services in Lake Geneva

Just returned from picking up my items from Geneva Upscale and their business is anything but "upscale". I had dropped off 2 prom gowns in late February. They can't give you an idea what the items will sell for when you leave them, nor do they call to let you know when they've gotten around to pricing them. All you know is that they will keep 60% of whatever they get. I called a couple weeks later to inquire what the dresses were priced at and was told they weren't put into inventory yet. I was shocked because I had feared I waited a little too long to try and sell these gowns, but apparently this shop doesn't put prom gowns out until most girls have already purchased theirs. I was advised they would be priced and put out in the next week. On April 1st, I received a call to come pick up one of the gowns because the beading was coming off. When I picked it up, not only was the beading in poor shape, but there are now spots on the skirt of the dress. This dress was in perfect condition when I dropped it off. It was worn once, professionally cleaned, and stored. If there was damage to the dress, why would they wait over a month to let me know? They told me the dress was, "just taken out of the bag yesterday". I highly doubt that and removed both my dresses from this store. BEWARE if you trust these people with your belongings. It's a shame that this $350 designer gown is...

I am a resale consignment shopper and I have been to many many consignment shops with that in mind I wasn't sure how this store would be when entering it. I found it to be very organized, clean, nice displays of items and it had a good selection of items. I did note that they didn't really have a lot of L or XL sizes but there were tons of S sizes. I however wish I were still a size S but I am not. My friend who was with me can fit a small in some brands so she was able to find a lot more items than I was. I did end up buying a couple items as did my friend. The prices are awesome compared to most consignment shops I have shopped. The four stars was because the staff were so busy talking about their own personal lives that they didn't really say or ask us if we needed help or even interact with us other than to cash out...

This store is an ABSOLTE MUST!!! The selection is AMAZING..Pricing is so reasonable!!!! I found so many BEAUTIFUL things there i was so exited...The store itself is so Organized and the Owner Renee is so Friendly and Helpful..my husband and i were in LG for a long weekend and I stopped here on a whim,boy was I glad i did..I live an hour from this store but i will b making it a place i check out often even when we arent on a mini vaca....It truly is one of the best Second Hand Store Ive...
