Let me first say that the owner, Chris, is an angel! My sister and I came in and found things we weren’t expecting to find which was a win already. As we were checking out, Chris let us know that he can keep us in the loop if anything else we were looking for came into the shop! I actually had an item I was looking for and he was so kind to remember a month later once the item arrived and even held it for me. Things came up and I wasn’t able to make it in to pick up, and he had no issues holding it longer and was super kind when I couldn’t make it. We stopped into Allison Wonderland yesterday afternoon and had the pleasure of speaking with the gentleman at the counter (I believe he was the owner) for a while while our daughters shopped around the store. He was wonderfully pleasant and he was just genuinely interested. The store has a great selection of toys, including some stuff that reminded me of my childhood. Both the girls and I left with something that made everyone happy (except mom, lol) and we’ll certain stop back in next time we come to town.

My family has been traveling up from Chicago to this family owned toy store for years now. There’s a vast selection of toys for all ages as well as tons of independent toy companies that you can’t find at the big box stores! The owner is so friendly and helpful! You can tell he really loves this place, it shows through the uniqueness and charm the store always has. So warm and inviting! I’m so happy to see them making it out on the other side of this pandemic. I will continue to support this small business as long as it stands!
