I cannot put into words enough how much I not only love this shop but love these women and others who work here.

Let's start with the sense of community, whether it be someone who has had their whole life surrounded by the craft or someone who is just curious- the people here who are eager to share their love of it are exceptional. There's a sense of belonging whether again if you're just curious or experienced.

Gretchen, Gretchen, Gretchen- I cannot say enough about Gretchen who in the last 6 months has become my spiritual guide through her exceptional work in tarot. When I say everything she has read through the cards has come to fruition I truly mean everything, whether I realized it right away or not.

When it comes to the owner, Jessica- lemme tell you how quickly we bonded despite me coming into her shop for a total of almost a year and we had not met until recently ( hint, it was like twin flame platonic soulmates, type of quick) Jessica is not only relatable in many personal ways for myself but she is quite genuine and honest and it's refreshing compared to what Lakewood has offered with these types of shops in the past where the owner is whom they say they are not hiding behind a facade of toxicity.

I absolutely love this place. As someone with severe anxiety that hates going into stores this place is great. They ask you when you go in if youve been there before / need help and leave you alone. And will also tell you if anyone is there doing anything (readings etc) they are always right there to help (very tiny store) but dont follow you around or continuously ask if you need help. Everything is labeled with names and a few things its used for. Which is nice if you are browsing and not looking for specifics. They give you these tiny bags to put any crystals in you buy which is really nice to keep them contained. They literally have something for everyone including cute earrings. / bracelets/ necklaces/ rings. And they will gladly order or offer to order anything they are out of. And they are BEYOND reasonably priced. Also are very helpful on social media / facebook messenger or will try to be even when you are the idiot. I literally cannot say enough nice things about them. Some metaphysical shops do not pass the vibe check, sometimes they have prices that make pieces inaccessible or have rude staff. Oktober's didn't suffer from any of those problems. We were immediately welcomed into the shop which had an incredible range of products. There were tarot decks, tons of gorgeous stones, stickers, patches, jewelry, books, candles and other spiritual aids. I could have spent a small fortune here. What really just took Oktober's over the top for me was the delightful people who work there. At the end of my transaction, one of the staff members gave me this adorable pamphlet that was essentially a spooky guilde to Cleveland and when I tell you that this pamphlet will be heavily informing my next trip to Cleveland, I am not exaggerating. They have a palmistry expert in the shop, though we did not have time to utilize those services. What a fabulous little shop in such a neat neighborhood. Thanks for being one of the highlights...
