When you are buying jewelry you want the assurance, trust, and transparency that you receive from family. Beverly's is a family owned jewelry store by working with them on your engagement ring, special occasion, or just because purchase you will receive unmatched attention, quality, trust, stones, and service. I really feel lucky that Beverly's is in south Florida and it was so easy for me to visit and work with them. I have heard people fly in from other states and even other countries and I am not surprised. Jeff and team are amazing.
I had the ideal experience buying my custom oval engagement ring from Beverly's Jewelers. A very close friend recommended Beverly's and from the moment I walked into the store I was treated like family.
I came in prepared and did my homework. I suggest anyone looking for an engagement ring to do the same. Do your field work and studies with your significant other. Take them to stores, get access to their pinterest, ask a lot of questions and obtain confirmation.
Amanda listened closely to what I was looking for and provided suggestions and options. She is highly experienced, patient and detailed. Hudson was also very helpful and provided great input. Jeff and Amanda obtained my budget, talked to me about clarity, cut, quality and found me an amazing oval (hard to find right now) stone in my budget.
We went with a custom setting since my fiancee had some unique requirements. Beverly's does all custom work onsite by their amazing team. My fiancee wanted rose gold, not too dainty (thin) of a band with stones on each side but not all the way around. We found a setting that was similar to what we were looking for, took initial design requirements and Mark the mad scientist got to work. Before I knew it I had CAD drawings of the custom setting, 4 or 5 pictures to be exact in my inbox awaiting my approval. It looked amazing yet something bothered me about the head on the ring and the prong design I had requested. A few emails back and forth and then I went back into the store that Monday. Mark sat with me to finalize the custom setting, we modified the prongs, changed the head, and that was it. It was perfect!! Consideration was paid towards wedding band sitting flush, making sure the stone was secured in the setting, and making sure all of her requirements were covered. We even added a decorative bar across the prongs to provide additional stability for the head. I was so happy to see the custom design process and work with Mark. To be so involved and have such a dedicated team to your purchase really feels great. About 2 or so weeks later the ring was done.
My fiancee couldn't be happier and I cant put into words the joy, excitement, elation that she has from her Beverly's engagement ring. Everything went as planned. Beverly's will be our first and only stop for jewelry in the future. Thank you Amanda, Jeff, Mark, and the whole...
Read moreSo, I never write reviews, but this is definitely one that I had to write. To start, I would say that Beverly's is the place to come, hands down, for everything jewelry related. Best in town.
I will start off by saying that when I was looking for an engagement ring, I had very little to go on, other than some articles online. I got a lot of advice about, "you should go to a wholesaler" and "dealers will rip you off". So I did just that. I went to a wholesaler and and picked out a diamond, and took the setting that they had, which looked similar to what I was looking for. It was a very nerve racking experience and there was a ton of pressure to get it right, and I trusted that the guy there knew what he was talking about. As you can probably tell, this was not actually the case.
Fast forward a couple weeks, the proposal went extremely well, and my now wife was happy with the ring in that moment. Upon further review, she pointed out many technical errors with setting the diamond, incorrect setting, etc. As a guy, I was already scared to go to a jewelry store, and at this point, I really had no idea what to do, confidence shattered.
My wife got a recommendation for Beverly's, so I reluctantly went along.
This is when we met Don.
I knew Don was knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about right from the start. He told us that he knew exactly what needed to be done and showed us options for what was about 3 hours. At this point we hadn't even committed to purchasing anything from him, but we knew that he really wanted to make this right for us. Long story short, he took a right that was average at best and made it look like something that was worth 3x the price. My wife actually cried when she saw it she was so happy. We later also purchased our wedding bands here and we will continue to purchase from Beverly's in the future for all of our jewelry needs.
Bottom line: Guys, if you are looking for an engagement ring, or anyone looking for just someone to bounce ideas off of, go see my man Don, you wont regret it. In fact, I can just about guarantee this will be the best decision you've...
Read moreMy story is a bit different than most here and most certainly off the positive chart! I discovered via the Internet Beverly's Jewelers a few years back when they assisted me in replacing a beloved diamond ring from my father and my wedding ring when they were lost in an unfortunate self-induced accident(!). I had always wanted a small "pinky ring" to wear but did not want something so large it looked like, well, "Las Vegas" as I mentioned to my contact there, Mr. Steven Lome. With his help, I found a great setting that was small enough for my somewhat small hands. After some conversation and education(!), Steve suggested a lab grown diamond and provided a half carat gorgeous one in their inventory. I did my own research about such diamonds and came away fully convinced that these types of diamonds are fully identical to what are called "mined diamonds" but without the difficult "social issues" surrounding diamonds pulled from the ground. BUT...I had three small gold "service pins" that my late father earned in his 42 years at his company. My goal was to incorporate the three small diamonds (one larger and two smaller ones) from the pins into the new setting. Their in-house jeweler, Jose, accomplished the task by setting all three stones into one side of the ring as a perfect design element to accompany the half carat stone. The end result was a simply stunning and one of a kind ring that fit perfectly and was the exact effect I was looking for. And all of this was handled with emails and phone calls between us, since I live on the other coast of Florida. I wear it proudly as a tribute to my late father as well as a beautiful piece of my personal jewelry collection. As I mentioned to Mr. Lome, it is "Elegantly Masculine " by any measure. A true work of art, my hope is that I will wear it every day, hopefully in good health and with a constant reminder of and love for my late father! Congratulations to Mr. Lome, Jose and the entire staff of Beverly's Jewelers. It does not get any better than that. Dr. Louis A. Zagar,...
