This place seemed more put together than the other Burger King, but I still wasn’t impressed.
Our daughter requested Burger King for her birthday dinner. We placed an order through the app and then waited at the wrong location for 20 to 30 minutes. When we finally figured that out and went to the correct location, our food had been waiting for us in a little heated area (thank goodness). The manager gave us our bags and we went on our merry way.
Once we got home, I started passing out all of the food only to realize that quite a few things were missing. We didn’t get the double bacon burger or the two whoppers we ordered.
We hopped in the car and headed back to Burger King. When we walked in, the manager seemed a bit irritated (we hadn’t even said anything yet). She said she’d get to us in a minute because she’s busy. She seemed frustrated and maybe a bit overwhelmed. We waited on the bench in front of the counter for quite some time. She was taking drive thru orders and said she could t help us until the drive they was empty. I thought that was really weird and it didn’t seem right.
Finally she had a few seconds in between orders to talk with us. We tried to hurry and rattle off what was missing. She smiled and said she’d take care of it. She had the missing burgers made for us and then we were on our merry way.
As far as cleanliness, this Burger King was way better than the other Layton location. Everyone was wearing gloves and no one was wiping their nose with their fingers.
Burger King isn’t really a place I want to go, but if my daughter requests it again and I can’t change her mind, I’ll choose...
Read moreEDIT: 7/18/24 I decided to give this place another shot. I walked in with another group behind me. Apparently I was at the wrong register, but instead of telling me, manager takes not only the group behind us, but took another group too despite being in the right line by then! Was it because my blind coworker and her service dog were there? Can't say. We tried to get her attention to order, but she walked away. Eventually they left. NEVER AGAIN!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: My family has been frequenting this location for over a decade! It's close to work, it's close to our old house, and they stay open later. But their STAFF!
I go to get a Tmobile Freebie off the BK app, and the guy working the drive up window is just SOO rude! First, he's hard to hear as the volume coming out was so quiet, I'm straining my ears to hear. He then informs me that "We don't have freebies like that" (meaning the T Mobile promo which is the second time they've done it so you'd think he'd be trained), and without "the last 4 digits of the coupon code, I won't punch it in. No one told me so I won't do it." Not that he CAN'T do it; it's that we WON'T do it.
Now, I'm attempting to give the benefit of the doubt. It's possible if I can't hear him, he can't hear me. So, I drive around. He looks at me and walks away. Maybe he didn't see me? So I knock on the window. He makes EYE CONTACT, and WALKS OFF! WTH! This employee knew I was there and left! He needs retraining at a MINIMUM! Sorry guys, but it looks like Wendy's and Taco Bell are getting my bussiness...
Read moreHorrible manager on a Sunday morning. I ordered sausage, egg, cheese croissant x2. No problems until I got my order and I pulled forward and unwrapped one of the sandwiches to give my dog. My dog took some of it and I noticed it was bacon, so I went back to the window and told her it was bacon, not sausage.
She took the bag with the one sandwich, but not the open one with part missing.
She relayed the mistake, to the only other person there, and then I heard yelling from the woman in the back (I was told this was the manager). A few minutes later the manager brings me another bag and with attitude hands it to me. I looked in the bag to see one sandwich and not two. I told her I ordered two. She angrily told me that I only gave one back, so I only get one. I handed her the other, with a bite out of it, saying that I didn't assume she wanted it, since it was opened and partially eaten. She took it, turned and very aggressively hucked it to the floor. She then went back in the back and I could partially see her as she continued to yell and aggressively make the sandwich, knocking things around. She brings me another bag, and after taking it, I pulled forward and looked in the bag and it was an open wrapper, with half of a sausage croissant . The croissant was torn in half with her fingers. I had already pulled away, and didnt go back for more of her raging. Horrible service. Obviously did not eat the croissants. I did contact corporate and hopefully it was handled...
