I recently visited Dillard's Clearance Center and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome and ensured a pleasant shopping experience.

This store used to be a regular Dillard’s anchor store in Music City Mall(formerly known as Vista Ridge Mall)in Lewisville, Texas before being converted to an actual clearance center for area Dillard’s stores.

Depending on the time of the year, you can find some really great deal here. They are constantly putting out ‘new’ merchandise so there is always something new. They have men’s, women’s, juniors, and children’s clothing as well as shoes. They have a very small home goods section currently. They used to have more. They also have a bit of women’s jewelry and higher end purses behind the counter at the main entrance.

The women’s shoe department is HUGE. Fortunately, they have them sorted not only by size, but by color within each size. Most items in the store, including shoes are 65% off the original Dillard’s price. Periodically, they will have sales throughout the store. The first weekend in July, they had marked all women’s open toe shoes to $7.99. Literally, ANY shoe that showed a toes was marked down. Once they get marked down, they stay that price until they are gone.

Some shoe brands they carry are Sofft, Ugg, Sam Edelman, Born, Sorel, Michael Kors, Ecco, Dansko, Sanctuary, Cole Haan, Dr. Marten, Free People, Aetrex, Matisse, Merrll, Eileen Fisher, Teva, Hunter, Spyder, Josef Siegel, Kurt Geiger, Birkenstock, Franco Sarto, Vince Camilo, and many more.

This week they have most all of their ‘summer’ clothes marked down to at least $7.99 final sale. If you’re not familiar with Dillard’s, they sell higher end labels such as Bugachi, Psycho Bunny, Eileen Fisher, Ralph Lauren, and several others. They also have several house brands such as Antonio Melani, Gianni Bini, Gibson + Latimer, and Rown.

Restrooms and fitting rooms are open and available. Store hours are Tuesday-Saturday noon-7pm and Sunday noon-6pm.

Enter at the Dillard's doors after being able to easily find a parking spot. It's a mall, so no problems with parking! Then you realize the whole place is a wonderfully well-organized clearance center. I mean, it doesn't feel like a nasty bargain basement place. It is clean, neat, and tidy. Lots of workers around to ensure it stays that way. Also, security staff! Yay! Keeping people honest and employees and customers safe. Now about that merchandise! Again, it's so well set-up. Sizes are where they say they are. Like colors are all together. Types of clothes are together. It's a great place to buy a prom dress or a formal event dress. Made me wish for a disco so I'd have an excuse to buy one. All beautiful. And blouses, jackets, coats, slacks, sportswear, etc. Men's big and tall. Regular men. Kids stuff. It is phenomenal. Now, what's the catch? Okay, they don't have small things like socks, earrings, and stuff like that. But that's okay.
