Do not trust this company with my laptop anymore. I took my laptop in 3 months ago to fix the problem i was having. My four key was typing on its own. They shipping to geeksquad lewisville and they replaced the keyboard on my laptop. Sent it back still typing 4. Sent it back. They went through the programs and updated my tobi eyetracking software which evidently was causing a weird glitch on my computer they said. Sent it back. Theres damage to my laptop where it looks like they tried to pry open my laptop with a flathead screw driver. Not only is the damage on the laptop on the bottom half were the keyboard it but it is also on the top half where the screen is at. So i sent it back so they can fix they damage they caused. First off they guys at my local store are pretty good at their job didnt have problems with them. Ever since the past time i sent off my laptop a month ago i cant get contact with the people who actually have my laptop(the geeksquad in lewisville) i cant see where my laptop is and all they keep telling me when i call the help number they keep telling me that they are waiting for a part. Read moreGot scammed big time Was talked into buying the total protection for roughly $200 after tax, was told I wouldn’t have to worry about anything (parts not included of course, that was made clear and that’s perfectly fine) Waited 4 days to find out the issue, got a call from Carl saying PC was ready for pick up and I had the option to buy the part in store Came to the store to pick up the PC, bought the part - was told I’d have to re-check my PC for ANOTHER service request and wait however many days before it’s installed, something that takes seconds.
Result: paid almost $200 plus the cost of parts only to have to do MY OWN INSTALLATION with YouTube
