I was in town visiting a friend and he brought me to Twin Peaks. I didn't know what to expect and when I got there, I just laughed and went with it.
The ambiance is outdoors-y and in line with their branding. The waitstaff is friendly and...In-line with their branding lol. We sat down at the bar and they have a wide selection of drinks. Pretty much everything you could want. When we were there they had some ridiculous happy hour going that somehow is hard to remember the exact details. Gotta love TX
It definitely would be a great place to watch some NFL or other sports that your interested in.
One thing that was kind of cool is that when I was there they had a guy playing guitar and singing. The music inside wasn't bad but I headed outside for a bit to enjoy. He was genuinely good and both paying the strings and singing. We later found out that he was blind. Pretty incredible if you ask me.
We finally decided to order something so I went for a safe bet with the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies. It was very tasty but slightly salty. I didn't think that was a huge deal though as the potatoes, chicken and veggies actually had flavor instead of being blnd and covered up by the use of salt.
Long story short is that if you like a nice waitstaff, great ambiance, plentiful bar choices and decent food, this place is your jam!
I think I overheard someone say that this is the original restaurant but then again I had a ew while I...
Read moreEdit: Another wonderful job ladies. Smiling faces, FANTASTIC FOOD (smokehouse burger and the cinnamon toast cheesecake). Special shout to my waitress Anna, thank you all for a wonderful meal, not just dinner.
2 months ago: Have returned several times since my previous post, and though those fantastic ladies are not there anymore, others have become noteworthy. Erica was great, especially having a trainee, Payton, who seems to be catching on and has a future there. Special shout out to a bartender,Jessica (?) ( she didn't serve me anything but I could see from where I sat, she never stopped), the hostess, Lucy, who assisted constantly in everything) and my waitress, Jordan, who had tables everywhere. All those ladies worked their butts off that Saturday night. Never saw them stop or get frustrated. Well done ladies, hope to see you all next time I'm in town.
1 yr ago: Been to 6 Twin Peaks in Texas. This was by far the best. The burger was wonderful. My waitress, Jaycee, was fantastic and friendly and also very knowledgeable for being a few weeks into the position (shows their level of training). Jayden, who originally took my drink order subbing for Jaycee, never walked by without checking in me. I am not really into sports and being married. Scenic views (also the best thus far) only go so far, but I am sold as a customer. I will return and specifically ask for...
Read moreOkay. I was hungry and did not pickup on the name...Twin Peaks! I walked in around 2pm and saw all of these older white men; first red flag. Then the waitress walked up in her "uniform". I had to ask, "Are you guys similar to Hooters?" Duh! That did it. All I could was laugh at myself. I was hungry and I committed myself as soon as I walked through the door. Well the waitress was very polite and thoughtful. She answered all of my questions with a yes ma'am. An indication that she was raised right!
I placed my order and waited. It saw a fried chicken salad with vinegarette dressing. Wow! The vinegar and the hot sauce on the wings were over powering. As soon as the food settled in my stomach I could feel the chemical reaction inside! Oh my goodness! So, I ordered another entre, chili beans and salad. How in the world can you mess up chili in Texas? My goodness. The manager D' walked over and observed both plates. He asked was there a problem with the food. I politely leaned in and whispered, "You know people do not come here for the food". Overall it's a great sports bar when you look at the number of big screen televisions and seating arrangements. The waitresses were nice so I made sure I tip based of their service; not the food.
Jeannie was very respectful! She is aspiring to higher heights. Twin Peaks is her stepping stone! I wish...
