DO NOT EAT HERE!!! This place made me sick! It’s very clear they do not wash their vegetables. I got a gyro from them and within an hour I was sick! The lady is very rude and this location will be reported to the BBB and my bank is going to handle this issue. We tried to call them to let them know and they were very rude and clearly didn’t care. In fact they said they would remake the food. No thank you, why would I eat food that just got me sick!! NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SICK! If I get worse than I am now I will be contacting my Attorney!
Read the reviews people! I wish I did and I would have seen how unclean this place is. Jesus Christ these people are horrible.
UPDATE: Dear Stop n Go staff- I read your response and I have never been to your location EVER until June 26th, 2025. For you to say that your record show I’ve been to your location on June 23, 2025 is false and bank record will show I have never been to your Lewisville location. When my husband called you guys, he wanted to explain the situation but instead of understanding and fixing the issues. He was yelled at by some lady “telling him she didn’t care and would not give us a refund and that its not from you” your phone records are recorded please review and you will see who was being inappropriate on that phone call. The lady refused to handle the situation with decorum and this is not how business should be conducted. Especially not with your own people.. it’s very upsetting and disheartening. As for you stating that me getting sick is unfounded, my doctor would bag a differ because all of Thursday 6/26 evening and Friday 6/27 was a complete nightmare for me, and that lady claiming to be the owner didn’t care about it. I would also like to mention the part about you saying I wanted more toppings, if it was truly a problem for me I would have said “okay please refund my gyro order” before we even left, but I didn’t because it wasn’t a big deal for me.. what was a big deal was me getting sick within the hour. You saying things like that comes of as disingenuous when you try to disregard everything that happened after that. So again, I didn’t have anything to eat on June 26, 2025 before I entered your store. we were in the area and decided to come a get something. This was the first time I’ve EVER been to this location as we are not from there. We’ve only ever been to the NRH location, as stated. Please do not attempt to claim otherwise, as bank records will show this is not...
Read moreI've tried many gyro/mediterranean fast-casual restaurants around DFW, and I have to say: this restaurant has the largest portion size bowl out of all the restaurants that I have been to. That's saying something too, given the fact that most DFW gyro/mediterranean places already have generous portions. One will most certainly not leave here hungry. I got my food delivered via Doordash, and it did not disappoint. The Seasoning is applied generously, and everything ends up tasting incredible as a result. In particular, the chicken shawarma was easily the best dish of all the dishes I tried. The bowl comes with a dressed salad, rice, pita, hummus (I believe), white sauce, and meat. The salad is probably the best around due to the fact that it's dressed in a nice sauce, and not just thrown in as a filler side as other places tend to do. My meal came with a free side of gyros--which I couldn't believe they actually gave me when I put in my order on Doordash. The Gyro meat is seasoned well and flavorful. The pita is pillowy soft with a nice taste, and the falafel has a wonderful texture. It's definitely one of the better ones in DFW; boasting a crispy crust and a hot filling. My only qualm is that it's very heavy on the parsley side (it's actually green inside as a result), and I prefer a garlic-forward flavor to my falafel. However, that's just a personal taste. The Greek fries are tasty, but the texture wasn't super crispy, but that probably had to do with the fact that it had to be delivered. As others have pointed out, the hummus is fantastic. It's superior to every other mediterranean fast-casual hummus place. That's not to say other places make bad hummus, but it usually tends to be a side. Here at stop N go, it's a fully garnished hummus topped with high quality tasting oil and herbs. The little touch shows the effort they put into the food, and it's reflected in how good the hummus tastes. My only complaint I have is that the Gyro meat and rice were a little dry. But, that could be due to the delivery time it took for the fresh food to get to me, or a bad cut on the spit. Not a huge deal.
In summary, come here for the massive portions, and the especially good chicken shawarma plate with...
Read moreWhen I walked in, I expected little more than another quick bite at one of the countless Mediterranean spots I’ve visited. Well, it was more than I bargained for. This review, therefore, is both deserved and necessary.
Let’s start with the ambiance. The design is effortlessly relaxing: simple yet creative in all the right ways. It’s the kind of place that makes you reconsider your takeout order and opt for dining in instead. The place is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, creating an environment where you can genuinely enjoy your meal rather than hurriedly eating it.
Now, onto the food. As others have noted, it doesn’t disappoint. Following a recommendation from the staff, I chose the chicken plate, paired with baklava for dessert (which, frankly, was a fantastic decision). The hummus was smooth and flavorful, nothing too wild, but it hit all the right notes. The chicken and rice were cooked perfectly, and most impressively, the chicken wasn’t dry, which, as any seasoned Mediterranean diner knows, is an all-too-common pitfall. The salad was fresh with a solid mix of toppings. For the price, the value is an absolute win. I even took a gyro plate to go afterward.
The staff deserves a mention as well. Polite, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do, they walked me through the menu with ease and made sure everything was to my liking. Shout-out to A. and M. who were working then. I happened to visit during a quieter time, so they took the extra effort to ensure I was taken care of—it's the kind of attentive service that elevates a meal from good to memorable.
If I had one minor critique, it would be to see even more variety in the dessert and side options, as what’s offered is so enjoyable I can’t help but imagine what else they might have up their sleeve.
So, the "TL;DR:" here is if you're looking for a meal that satisfies both your palate and your nutritional goals after a lengthy day, this is the place to go. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken plate—it's more...
