It was a mixed experience. When we first walked in, a female employee offered us samples and was quite friendly, which gave us a good first impression. After trying the samples, we let her know we wanted to purchase a few chocolates. She asked us which ones, and when I pointed to one and said I’d like three of them, things took a strange turn.
Another employee, who came off as standoffish and unfriendly, jumped in and told us they don’t offer samples of that chocolate—even though we weren’t asking for samples, we were clearly trying to buy them. What was even more confusing was that the female employee who had been helping us didn’t clarify the situation. She just stood there silently instead of correcting the misunderstanding.
Later, when she seemed to be having a bit of trouble boxing the chocolates, we kindly said she could just hand them to us as-is, to make things easier. But again, the same male employee interjected, saying they couldn’t do that because they needed to weigh them—his tone felt unnecessarily curt and dismissive.
On the positive side, the chocolates themselves were high-quality and tasted great, although they were very pricey. You’re definitely paying for quality over quantity. However, due to the unwelcoming vibe from one of the staff members, I don’t...
Read moreI adore this chocolatier. Once we discovered it in Munich, we would order online and were beyond excited that they opened locations near us. I usually lurk outside the window until I’m sure he’s busy with someone else before daring to go in.
Over this past year, I’ve seen Nico point a finger at my well-behaved child, snap his fingers at my very polite, soft spoken mother to “speak up if you want me to hear you”, and even tell my husband was literally just standing there with bags in his hand to “wait your turn.” We’re not line-cutters, we say please and thank you, and we genuinely love this place… but wow, Nico could use a little chocolate himself.
We usually go to the taller gentleman there. Today we met Emily. She noticed the rough and unjust behavior and stepped in to save the day. Fivr stars for Emily and zero stars for being treated like a nuisance for daring to buy them. I hope management...
Read moreWhile shopping around in the Fashion Outlet Mall. I saw all of these delicious looking chocolate pieces in the window. Of course I couldn't resist so I went inside. Right when I get inside, the employee gives me a piece of Swiss milk chocolate and it was sooo good. They gave me plenty of pieces of other flavors and surprisingly I only came out with a $9.00 dark chocolate bar. This chocolate is best for gifts or if you want to treat yourself. Not an everyday chocolate that you would buy at Aldi's or...
