Please save your money and spend it on something that is actually worthwhile. My husband and I are out the money and 3 hours of our lives that we’ll never get back. The food was so bland and under seasoned - our small chicken breast, scoop of mashed potatoes, and handful of green beans were all placed on top of each other with a small spoonful of gravy over the chicken and beans. The actors seemed to try their best but talked so fast and unclearly that we could hardly understand them and therefore not catch or understand the dialogue/clues to solve the murder mystery. In the end, the “answer” to the mystery - the name of the killer - had absolutely nothing to do with the clues we were given via QR codes on our phones. We spent every spare second pouring over those clues and attempting to catch every possible hint. I had pages of notes taken, ready to find the in depth hidden answer and it turned out that an actor that had been planted in the crowd was the killer. There were zero clues or mention of that actor anywhere except for some very brief dialogue with a different known actor at the beginning of the event, but- that happened with more than 10 members of the audience as well. To conclude, it made zero sense and after the actors/detectives explained the entire case and how it connected, I nearly laughed at how ridiculous it was. They could have picked literally anybody as the killer with the logic they were using. Save your money...

Here's my story.. On May 7th I bought 2 tickets and a package so i could surprise my mom for her birthday/mothers day. On the 18th they cancelled the show do to this covid stuff. Okay fine i understand ill just take my refund and do something else..oh i don't get a refund but a gift card to go another time? Okay... a week later i get the gift card email and it says it only includes the 2 tickets but doesn't say anything about the package so i email them about the package... a few weeks later i send out my second email...couple more weeks i send out my third email and finally on the 29th of June do i get a response about the package. Great now ill just quickly reserve are spots and oh they don't have anymore shows coming up in the next month. Well great. My moms going into surgery soon so if we cant go now then it won't be for months if at all when we can. So thanks dinner detectives you basically jacked $150 from me and ruined my plans for my mom. We purchased our tickets right before shutdown. We were told all four of our tickets would be reimbursed for later date. They set it for 1 year expiration which as we all know did not cover the time of the covid social distancing. We decided to use them two people of the four refused to go due to the lack of ability to social distance. My spouse and I went asking if we could use the two extra so we could social distance. It would not let us for no explain reason. The place was so cramped and jammed in the corner that there was no less than six and no more than eight inches between each person.
