Hello, I just want to tell you about what a fantastic experience I had in Leven’s in Logan, Utah and the smile I walked out with. I walked into the store on March 7th shortly after it opened because I was looking for a red and gold tie. I am from Wyoming and had traveled to Logan for a job interview for a teaching position at Logan High and needed to wear the LHS colors. That's why I was specifically looking for a red and gold tie. The young ladies that helped me were polite and willing to go out of their way to help me, by taking off a tie from one of the mannequin models that were on the upper shelf. These girls helped me with my choices and were polite, well spoken, spoke very highly of Logan and were very encouraging about my prospects. They helped me pick out the tie and away I went with my interview. I am excited to tell you the choice of the tie worked tremendously well because I got the job and am currently working as a social studies teacher for Logan High School. I was also incredibly impressed by the price of the ties, which were 2 for $20. That is an amazing price and I was expecting second rate ties for that price but I was pleasantly surprised that these were name brand ties, and they were also silk ties!!! Well, the story doesn't stop there. I came back the next day and wanted to trade in the other tie I got for that great price. I told the lady working there that I liked pink, skinny ties, and floral. She was also incredibly courteous and told me to look around. A couple of minutes later she said, “Come with me.” She told me that they had gotten a shipment of new ties in and they might be what I was looking for. She took me downstairs where there were a ton of new boxes packed with ties. She told me to look around and see if I could find one in the boxes. I was amazed at the level of customer service in making sure your clientele gets what they want. Sure enough, I found a pink, skinny tie, with flowers on it. I remember walking out of Leven’s that day feeling a renewed sense of commitment in my belief in customer service as well as retail stores. It’s simple what you have done. Why can’t all stores in America be like Leven’s?! Great prices, great service, great products. You have renewed my belief in how stores can be and what simple customer service does. I told my whole family this story and anyone that will listen. Leven’s has made me a customer for life and I really want to say thank you. You are an excellent example for Logan, and providing a great service that speaks to people in a basic and meaningful way. Thank you and I look forward to the next time...
Read moreMy relationship with Leven's began in 1992. I needed suits and such and had never purchased anything of the sort. I was leaving for a 2-year mission for my church and I didn't have a clue where to go. I was referred to Leven's by an aunt that lived in Logan at the time; we lived in NE Oregon. I spent 4 + hours in the store and got everything I needed and loved the experience, and I loathe shopping for clothing. But the positive experience didn't stop there. Over the course of my 2 years in Chile I noted that my clothes were nicer, lasted longer, and were of higher quality than the clothes of missionaries I served with. And when I talked with them about price I found out I got more for less.
In 2010 I had a job change and needed to purchase a new suit. I hadn't purchased a suit since 1992 and I only lived 2 hours from Logan, so I returned and found the experience to be as I remembered it. The styles were great, the service spectacular, and I loved the products I purchased!
Today, 2017, I am buying 2 more suits and some other odds and ends. I live 7 hours from Logan, in the hometown I grew up in. And I happily made the 14 hour, 1000 mile trek, to purchase my newest suits. We did the trek in 24 hours. Leven's is that good!
I am currently a sales manager over two retail stores and we talk all the time about providing the customer with a "memorable experience, one that keeps bringing them back". Leven's provides that experience.........I drove away from closer stores in other large cities, and through and past many cities along the Snake River Plain, to get to Logan so I could purchase suits from my store, its got...
Read moreEdit: This experience was 5 years ago but I edited the review and it updated the date. I don't even think they sale wedding dresses anymore and hopefully red head is no longer working there.
I was extremely disappointed in my experience at Leven's. I just happened to stop by looking at wedding dresses and the way I was treated was AWFUL! The one girl (red head with glasses) in particular made numerous rude comments. She said I wouldn't be able to find what I wanted and that they don't even make dresses that look like what I wanted. She also told me that I would never find any of the dresses that looked like the ones I pinned on Pinterest. She also brought a dress in the fitting room and I told her I didn't want to try it on. She told me that I needed to and that I had no idea what it would look like on. I said "That's not the style I'm looking for, I don't want to try it on" She responded and said "Are you sure? You can't even tell what it looks like on the hanger" I said "No!" Then when my six foot tall, long armed fiancé came in looking for a suit with long sleeves, she said "They just don't make them that way". Once I left, I went over to Pedals and Promises, found 10 dresses, all in my size, that were the EXACT color and style I wanted. I almost took pictures of them all and went back to Leven's to show the rude girl. AVOID THE RED HEAD WITH GLASSES. SHE IS RUDE AND JUST WANTS TO MAKE A SALE! And just a note to her in case she's reading this--Maybe if you treated people with respect and kindness, you would...
