Terrible experience. Told the first make-up artist I don't like the look of mineral powders. She completely ignored me and continued to only suggest powders! So I moved on, a little annoyed that my time is being wasted. You can't really say to an associate: "I understand that is what you use, but you look caked in mak-up, I'm not interested." So I moved on. The second make up artist matched my color, but not. I told her I have a lot of pink undertones, be sure to fight that. What does she do... The exact opposite of what I told her of course! Clearly this 18 year old with a make-up brush whose spent 5 minutes with me knows my skin better than I do. As a costumer I assume associates are actually trying to help me find what I am looking for... You know, because that's their ONE job. So I assume she has matched me with a non-pink tone...Walked outside, got into my car, guess whose face was bright pink? This girl's. I'm A. furious. And B. late to an appointment. It takes me an hour to get out of the mall parking lot because of the holidays, and I'll be back today (for the last time) because the make-up I was professionally matched for, does not match! Oh yes, did I mention they have a computer system that will match you (and I have never been mismatched by) but the 2 associates I worked with refused to use it... Even when I asked them. Truly, the worst customer service of all time. Finally, it felt like I couldn't walk through the store without being approached by some other sales associate getting a kick-back from another product. I could tell certain people in the store are receiving kick-backs or commission on certain products (especially skin care section). I was looking at a vitamin c serum, a sales associate standing near it offers her infomercial and asks if I'd like to buy some... I told her it seems overpriced for what it is and asked her to point me towards some other brands, she completely refused! i experienced similar experiences with other associates. in short AWFUL, go to ULTA, or a department store where at least it is obvious that they are getting commission for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly I wish I could rate this store 0 out of 5. I have been a VIB customer for a while now and every time I go into the Sephora in Cherry Creek Mall I get the best customer service and help. Unfortunately I wasted my time driving all the way to this one because the online website said it had the Z-Palette I needed. Not only did the online price say it was $10.00 but I also called ahead to make sure. I went in there grabbed the product and the sign said $25.00 a little confused, I tried to ask one of the girls on the floor but I was snubbed and told I had to ask a cashier. I continued to do my shopping and not once was I asked if I needed help, keep in mind I spent a good 45 minutes in there. I asked the cashier when I checked out and she confirmed it was $25.00, $15.00 isn't a huge deal to me. What really got to me was the fact that she had scanned the product and said oh wait it's actually $28.00. I had asked if they could match the price online since it clearly said $10.00 but they didn't have the authority. So I was going to suck it up and purchase it up until the point where another cashier came up and kicked my cashier off of the register and said to me, "I have to help other customers. Have a nice day." After that I lost it. I left my very expensive items that I was going to purchase on the counter, reminded them that I was a VIB customer and that they had just lost my business for good. I will never return to this Sephora location. If you live in this area don't waste your breath trying to get any sort of help. Drive the 20-25 minutes down to Cherry Creek Mall and get the help their company is paying them to give you. If it weren't for the Cherry Creek location, Sephora would of lost me as a customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in this Sephora earlier with my Mom who had two babies in double stroller, which was already a bit hard to maneuver through the store but she just needed to grab a few things. She had about half an iced coffee in the cup holder of the stroller and she bumped it over. We felt really bad so she went to grab someone to see if we could get it cleaned up. She came across āBrittā who didnāt seem busy and was close by . My mom said āIām really sorry I accidentally spilled some coffee over hereā. Britt rudely responded āPardon??ā with a grossed out look on her face. She then walked over to the tiny spill and sighed loudly and rolled her eyes, and then said āI guess I will go get someone from the backā¦ā and walked off. We were a little taken aback but we felt bad so whatever. There were other two girls who I didnāt catch their name but were very sweet and came out and stood by it while they waited for her. When she came back out with the mop she said loudly āItās fine I guess I will clean it upā and then said āIt is probably gonna take two of usā She saw us standing right there so Iām not sure if that was to make us feel worse or what. It truly was about half a cup of coffee in a small pile I wouldāve just done it myself if I could. She then continued to roll her eyes and sigh. We finally just checked out and left the store. Everyone else in the store was lovely and kind but this run in with this employee was definitely...
