UPDATE #2: WOW. T-Mobile responded like nothing I'd ever had from Verizon. All is very well with our service both in Wyoming and Denver. I have actually had to use the Hotspot a couple of times in order to do my work here in Wyoming. Great Job to everyone who helped with our issues!
UPDATE: After having this service for almost 3 months, I have to say I am ENTIRELY DISAPPOINTED in T-Mobile. The service in Cheyenne is absolutely horrible EVEN with a Cell Spot that was sent to me (and why should I NEED a Cell Spot for a MOBILE phone ???) and to top it off today I found out that I was sent a REFURBISHED phone within the first 15 days of purchasing my brand NEW phone which had a problem with the internal antenna. I have had problems with that refurbished phone and the screen ONLY works properly when there is NO screen protector on it. I called Samsung to find out if there was a known defect with screen protectors with this phone but there is not. If I had enough money to buy myself out of this contract I would instantanly do so and go back to Verizon.
Previous review of 5 stars: We too were VZW customers (since 1993, loyalty means something to us, but apparently not to VZW) We switched to T-Mobile AND drove down from Cheyenne, Wyoming to see Elizabeth and meet Ross, the manager, in order to switch our service. Read moreLet me start off by saying what an amazing job Devin the wireless consultant and Paul the manager did. I use to be a store manager for a competitor for 8 years and decided to make the switch as I knew that T-mobile had improved a lot over the years. I also could not give up the heavily discounted military plan which was even cheaper than my EMPLOYEE account I had working at another cell company. From the start Devin was very professional and knew the answer to every question I had asked. Which, was a lot because I knew more than the typical customer on what kind of questions to ask. We did the Carrier Freedom promo and she helped each step of the way. T-mobile was on top of it also. Example, two of the buy outs were not approved but I was called within 5 mins to get it corrected. Coming from my old employer this would not have happened. Paul the manager followed thru with every promise that was made to me and made sure to make things smooth for us coming over. I had visited 2 other T-mobile stores before this and settled with this one because it was the first one that the manager and employee could answer all my questions with out pitching the wrong thing or blowing smoke.I have now had service for over a week and would like to report that the service is the same if not better than my old company especially in castle rock where my old company has had a lot of problems lately. Read moreA mixed review, I’ve been with Sprint now T mobile for almost 18 years. Broken phone and brought it in to swap only to find out at an upgrade a while back some shady manipulation was done in the account adding features and deleting ins to 1 line. Devan was amazing, she gave me number to cust. care and stuck with me through the 7 supervisors/ins reps who broke promises, didn’t fully note account and hung up on me twice. She helped restore the insurance. She gets 5stars. I needed a phone today for my husbands business and safety. She said her manager would be in at 2( this started about 11:30am) and we would work it out. Her manager, Kimberly Martinez arrived late and then dismissed Devan from working with me. She didn’t do anything to help and said I just needed to relax and wait several days to file a claim and get a new phone. If the supervisor Sarah who assured me I could trade in the broken phone for an upgrade made full notes I would have been done before Kimberly came in. As a people leader myself, Kimberly didn’t listen to me, she didn’t try to find a solution, she was dismissive to me and her associate. I would give Kimberly zero stars if possible. I was in the store for several hours and witnessed great service from the other employees and appreciated all that Devan did for me. I am now 7 hours into the process and Ultimately I went to the Lonetree location to get a solution which meant back to Park Meadow to buy phone for swap after ins fix in morning.
