Wish I could give them zero stars. Or negative.
There is something seriously wrong at this pharmacy.
They refused to fill my Rx for an extremely common, non-controlled medication for FOUR DAYS. This is after I told them very clearly that it was urgent as I was entirely out of pills.
I was there in person and it was just bizarre the way the pharmacist pretended she didn’t hear anything I was saying about it being an emergency. She just went into some kind of zombie mode, ignoring everything I said and kept repeating “give us your number we’ll text you when the prescription is ready”. Over and over and over.
Well, she lied. They never texted me about this Rx.
Due to my schedule I was unable to call while they were open, but I used the automated system several times after hours, and every time it just told me it could find no information about this Rx.
After 3 days of fruitless waiting I called CVS customer support early in the morning. The agent said their system showed my prescription was “On Hold” and no further explanation. She then called the pharmacy on my behalf and left them a message to fill my prescription. Over a day later, nothing happening. They evidently completely ignored the message from corporate customer service the same way they were ignoring me, as well as, y’know, their basic job duties.
At that point, now at 4 days of waiting, I called CS in the morning again. The agent again found that my Rx was “On Hold” and nothing whatsoever had been done.
I guess they decided to put my prescription “On Hold” for all eternity and tacitly engage in dereliction of duty and patient abandonment. Why? Maybe just for kicks, who knows - maybe they do this to random patients since they can apparently get away with it at this location. Or perhaps because I told them it was an emergency?? Neither one of the reps could think of any explanation and nothing about this four-day fiasco makes any sense to me.
Like many medications, this one causes all sorts of withdrawal symptoms if suddenly stopped, which considerably worsened my state of mind and my stress levels, so that it became more and more difficult for me to go about my day while dealing with this. Of course, I was not offered any holdover pills by the pharmacy - my doctor later told me I should have been.
After the 2nd rep told me the Rx was still unfilled and no indication that it ever would be, or that there was anything I or the rep could do about the situation, I had them transfer the Rx to a different CVS. It’s several miles away and considerably out of the way from any of my work or school routes. It’s going to cause me substantial difficulty to have to go there for my prescriptions. But they were open and told the rep they could have the Rx ready in an hour. And they did. I was able to get my medication the same day, just a few hours after the script was sent to them. That’s how easy it is to fill an Rx for that medication. There is no need to cause patients a lot of stress and harm our health by denying us our prescribed medicines.
I will now be getting my med refills at the out-of-the-way CVS, where they’re willing to actually do their basic job duties. Unlike this place on Wellworth.
So this location ought to have a giant “user beware” sign on it. There is no logic whatsoever behind what they did with my...
Read moreAs a physician and patient, I do not recommend going to this pharmacy. The times when e-prescribing is down, the pharmacy manager is extremely rude and does not allow calling in scripts, even though this process exists for when e-prescribing has issues. When I have been able to leave a voicemail or call in a script for a patient, they have straight up not filled it multiple times. When I have called back, they then blame me that I didn’t give them the right info (which never seems to be true) and refuse to take the info down again. My dog was just diagnosed with cancer and the vet didn’t have his pain meds, and this pharmacy refused to allow them to call in a prescription so that I can fill it, which literally cannot be done by e-prescribing. The vet staff even mentioned to me how difficult, uncooperative, and rude they were, and that they even just hung up on them. Even as a patient, when calling to inquire if I can’t find a script in my account, I am consistently met with a rude attitude. As I work in healthcare, I understand how busy they can be and how things take time, but it is unacceptable to be spoken to in such a dismissive, rude, condescending manner for simply trying to take care of myself, my poor dog, and my patients. I recommend driving a little further for a different pharmacy or calling into a different one for...
Read moreThe front desk pharmacist clerk FAMIHEH is exceptionally rude, as well as the other front desk clerk who is a woman who refused to wear a name tag. I’m assuming because they are used to providing horrible service and don’t wish to be named in reviews like this. I came here 6 separate times. First she said 30 minutes and my script will be ready, then another two times I came back and they said to me to wait another30 minutes. Finally the pharmacist came to speak to me and had 0 patience or empathy towards my situation. They make rude comments as if they did not fill out an application to work here as their JOB. One of them said to me “wow your whole day is wasted you’re waiting so long here”. FAMIHEH, UNNAMED WOMAN, AND THE PHARMACIST SHOULD CONSIDER ANOTHER LINE OF WORK IF THIS ONE FRUSTRATES YOU THIS MUCH. 6 times I went here and finally after 3 hours I get my medication and it is appropriately charged to my insurance. Come here if you want to deal with rude workers talking bad about you in farci. Pharmacy technician CARLOS is the only one...
