I just had to share my amazing experience at Out of the Closet, all thanks to a fantastic employee named Gustavo. From the moment my friend and I walked in, it felt different. Gustavo greeted us with a genuine smile that instantly lifted our spirits.
As we browsed, it became clear that Gustavo wasn’t just there to do a job; he was there to make our day better. He approached us, asking if we needed help, and you could tell he really meant it. He listened attentively to what we were looking for and took the time to chat with us, making us feel like we were catching up with an old friend rather than just being another customer.
What truly blew us away was how he went out of his way to help us find exactly what we needed. He suggested items that we hadn’t even considered, and his recommendations were spot-on! It felt so genuine, like he really cared about making sure we left happy.
Gustavo even shared some background stories about the products that made our shopping feel more meaningful. By the end of our visit, we didn’t just leave with great finds; we left feeling uplifted and appreciative of the kindness we experienced.
I’m genuinely looking forward to returning to Out of the Closet, and it’s all because of Gustavo. Thank you for reminding us that great service really does matter, and for making us feel like we...
Read moreThe Long Beach location pulled a bad move. I found a $5 bracelet that they put out today 12/3 that was a carved bone bracelet with elephants. I gave it to the cash register person to hold, he liked it stating he would buy it and started showing other employees the bracelete. Later that employees comes to me and says they are not going to sell it because they say it's ivory....it's not. I spoke with the managers who stated they needed to tested it, I asked them to test it then she said she didn't have the equipment. I then asked them how do they know it ivory? She stated she didn't know. I told them that was a bad move....I deal in Antiques it's not even a old piece and definitely not ivory, just a nice carved piece of plastic. I feel had the cashier register guy not blab and show it to other employees I would of gotten a piece that DID have some Silver. Caution when dealing with the LB location. Why put something out if you don't have the equipment to test. Let's see if the reach out to me at Andee's Vintage, Antiques in Bellflower to make this right, I can be reached...
