Omg can not warn about this place enough. Everything an injector could to to set off alarms she did.
First: had me wait for 45 minutes past my appointment when a family friend of hers came in to get a procedure. I heard this individual getting a huge family discount at the front before they finally called me in and the injector said 'sorry for the wait we've been having issues with our AC.'
Then comes the appointment. First she asked what race my friend was literally saying "what are you" while comparing our features, then told her she couldn't do anything to help her. She THEN used her coworker to highlight examples of sunken eyes and cheekbones (so mean and shocking we didn't know how to react in real time). She ended up telling my friend nothing could help her jaw pain unless she went through insurance and a different person and dropped several thousand more dollars than she could probably afford. Yes, jaw injections can involve a lot of ccs, yes it can be expensive, but other competent injectors I know would've given her tangible steps rather than a general 'that's not gonna happen for you', or tried other moderate solutions as a first step.
Then to me. I booked an appointment for BOTOX which the receptionist told me the cost of on the phone per unit vs dysport. I started getting botox injections when I was 24 for migraines then started doing more for aesthetics. I have been receiving it every 3-4 months for 3 and a half years before moving back here. This injector insisted on dysport, told me it lasts longer and is stronger than botox( just generally not considered the case) and refused to give me botox. When I told her I wanted botox and where I want it, she told me "I was too young" and then that "the frozen face look is not in"... my god. so many issues with this. First, I am 27, not 16. Second, if her argument was 'you're too young, she would not do anything, not use a larger amount of a diluted version of the same product that cost the same total amount in the end--eye roll). Third- At no point did I ask for a frozen face look (and if I did, then that would be my decision). Imagine going to get your hair done, saying you want a bob and they told you 'no that won't suit you that look is very out, I'm gonna give you a pixie cut.' Beyond that, women of all ages get injections done, the last thing an injector should do is shame you/gaslight you while pushing a different equally invasive, equally expensive procedure on you (perhaps you get a better wholesale deal on dysport and are pushing it on new clients?)Mind you this was for moderate botox, elevens, forehead. This was not a case of body dysmorphia.
I told her what I wanted and what I have gotten. Instead of listening and delivering she shamed me and went ahead and did what she wanted. Big surprise the dysport did absolutely nothing.
Medical injectors should listen to you, your goals, and your experience. They should not shame you, give unsolicited advice, and ignore your past experiences. And to top all this off, the number of injections she stated was A DIFFERENT NUMBER THAN I WAS CHARGED. I was so exhausted and upset, and they were so uncooperative and disrespectful it seemed there was no chance they would remedy this. Nothing is worse than spending this kind of money for an experience where you're treated with this level of disrespect, and walk away without the results you...

Update: Iām so disappointed in the response from Hush LA. Again I was NEVER informed about what would be injected into my face. I signed consent forms for Dysport. Not Botox and not Jeuveau. It was NOT disclosed to me that Jeuveau would be injected into my face because otherwise I wouldāve just went with regular Botox instead. I asked for Dysport and was told by the front desk receptionist that they had to switch to Botox for some anatomy reason. I only knew about Jeuveau because it was written on a paper with dysport crossed out. Also I had this treatment done on 7.10 itās now 7.24 so it has been 2weeks and this is not my first experience with injectables š Whoever respond to my review, literally just blatantly lied and thatās no bueno. Itās great that you have 5 star reviews. I never complained about the services at all but, 7.10.25 I felt like it was a very predatory environment and I was being taken advantage of and treated like I was stupid as if I never had anything done before.
You can be great at what you do and still have a personal bias towards different types of people that prevents you from having consistent ābedside mannersā. This is my experience

So I wanted to wait the 2 weeks before writing this review just to make sure that Iām good treatment wise
I purchased laser hair removal in a 5 package and my first 4 sessions were amazing. I donāt know if there was a staff change but during my last laser session the new receptionist (there 7.10.25 @1:30pm) werenāt necessarily the most welcoming compared to the previous staff. Nevertheless I didnāt take it personally
The problem for me was that I asked for dysport injections in the jaw and was instead given Botox or so they say, I saw on a paper at the front desk dysport crossed out and Jeuveau written so I honestly donāt know what they injected into me. Now that the 2 weeks is up. Itās like the Botox or jeuveau or dysport or whatever they injected into me isnāt effective at all. Itās like I got nothing done. Itās so unfortunate because I really liked this place but to not tell me what youāre injecting into my face and why is kinda concerning.
During the actual treatment (which was great) the nurse told me it was dysport. I signed a form about dysport. We talked about dysport and the aftercare but when I went to pay I was told by the receptionist that they had to switch to Botox for some anatomy reason which they never disclosed to me, meanwhile Iāve gotten dysport injected into the jaw multiple times with no problems and I told the receptionist this on the phone while inquiring and I also told the nurse this
I didnāt wanna argue or challenge it because I knew how it would be perceived and I didnāt want them to call the police or anything but I would say if you do go to Hush LA just make sure you know what your getting into and make sure to double check so your not being taken advantage of. Unfortunately I canāt go back. The...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely unprofessional. Very sad that the owner lets her own ego get in the way of taking care of her clients.
I was told that after 3 sessions I should not have to shave, when I came in with my grown out hair she proceeded to tell me that she will laser the hair and it will fall out. It burnt the hair but it did not fall out since you actually need to laser the hair follicle to kill it. (Do not know what they are doing)
During my session she would not only talk my head off about her personal life which I do not want to hear about but also would not use medial gloves and would use her bare hand while working on me. (During Covid which is a sanitation issue)
They would text my phone out of business hours instead of calling and leaving a message like a professional business would.
She went over a mole (Basically burnt it) and it turned black I had to see a dermatologist to make sure it was not harmed.
Upon calling to let Elana to tell her about my concerns, not only did she raise her voice and cut me off several times but was not even apologetic that I was not happy with the results, she simply told me that I would need more sessions. It is sad that that was her instinct to talk back and yell, over one customer? How desperate are you?
As a Buisness owner myself I must say I would be embarrassed if I was her.I I would NEVER talk to a client in this manner I was actually very shocked!
Very unfortunate however there are SO MANY hair laser removal places that would treat you decently, no need to be treated like trash after paying $500 for treatments.
If you want a professional, don't...
