I broke the charging port on my old HTC One X and Genius Lab said they would be able to repair it for a reasonable price. Because it was an older phone, the part was not plentiful and had to be shipped from an east coast vendor which took about 4 days. Once they got the part, the phone would charge but then the On/Off button wasn't working, so the technician John (I think that's his name!) replaced that part free of cost and the phone still wouldn't turn on. By this time they had my phone for maybe 10 days (I bought a temporary one as a possible replacement) and they knew me when I called as "the HTC girl". They were always as helpful as possible giving me information about the status of my phone and when I could expect it to be finished. In the end it was not reparable. I went in to pick it up and John told me the sad details and said the owner said not to charge me for the two parts they purchased to fix my phone. At the very end of our conversation, John mentioned they had used phones if I needed a replacement. I left with a Samsung S4 Mini that was essentially brand new, had all the features I wanted and needed in a phone and none of the extra bling that does my head in. He let me buy the phone for less than it would have cost to pay for fixing my HTC!! Read moreAfter many disappointments in the past with repairing my MacBook Pro, I thought I would give Genius Lab an opportunity with fixing my laptop. They have in the past repaired my iPhone and iPad at a great price, so I decided to give them a call in regards to my MacBook slowing down and being laggy all the time. The representative that answered the phone immediately told me what the problem may be, literally explained every process they can take to fix my problem. I immediately got the sense that they truly wanted to fix my problem and weren't just trying to take my money and run. Turns out that even tho other places told me that I had to swap out my hard drive, and do a lot of other services that would rack up my tab, Genius Lab tested my hard drive, and realized that my HD did not need to be replaced, and just needed to be serviced. I am so thankful for their honesty that I am literally referring all my friends and family here. I live in Glendale, and it was COMPLETELY worth the drive to them (which wasn't THAAAT FAR) to have my problem fixed correctly and with integrity on their part. Even the Apple Store wasn't being helpful in my case. All in all, from pricing, to their knowledgeable staff, customer service, and honesty I couldn't be happier. Read moreGenius is an understatement. The Genius Lab replaced the cracked screen on my iPhone 7 Plus in one hour for the same price my carrier Sprint was going to charge. But Sprint wanted me to back up the entire contents of my phone before bringing it in, because when they got it, they were going to wipe it completely clean of everything. Then they were going to send it to Apple to replace the screen because they were not authorized to fix it at their Repair Center. 5 to 7 days later, Apple would send my fixed phone back to Sprint, and then I would have to make another trip to go pick it. Sprint would give me a loaner to use for the time they had my phone, but the first Sprint repair center I called was out of loaner phones. What a hassle with Sprint from beginning to end (and I pay for Insurance on the phone!) I highly recommend the Genius Lab...it will make you feel like a Genius for...
