STAUD — Local services in Los Angeles

Rude sales people. When I walked in there were three women talking. I thought two customers and one employee. I was greeted when I entered. I walked around because I needed assistance but of course would wait until the employee was done with the customers. It was not until the one employee who I thought was also a customer went to go check on someone in the dressing room that I realized there were two employees and one customer plus the customer busy in the dressing room. I stood like an idiot in the middle of the store staring at them but they were so engaged in their conversation that they didn't even notice. One the employee returned to the group after helping the person in the dressing room, I asked if someone could help me. That employee ignored me and the other women came over to me. I asked her for the purse I was looking for and she informed it was sold out. She said I needed to be quick. I do not fit what seems their target demographic but it this does not mean I can't shop there. They should be welcoming to everyone. Interesting that most of the reviews have to do with...

I walked into the store surprised that it was completely empty, especially during peak hours. After seeing how the staff behaved, I understood why.

Half the items had no price tags. When I asked about the price of one item, the employee responded by shouting at me while sitting on top of the table, legs crossed, scrolling on her phone. Later, when I asked about another item, she told me to “look for the tag” myself — even though it was obvious I only asked because there was no tag.

I had several items in my hand that I planned to buy, but after experiencing her attitude, I decided to put them all back. It felt as she was only there to get a sales commission without actually helping.

Honestly, the experience was shocking — this was my first time visiting the physical store. I’ve always ordered from you online and never expected such a poor level of customer...

I visited Staud today and had the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I don’t usually write reviews, but the sales associate’s behavior was unacceptable. She was sitting at the counter watching TikToks and Instagram reels with the volume on loud.

When I asked for help or inquired about prices (since some clothing items didn’t have tags), she would reply in the most dismissive and rude manner—without even taking her eyes off her phone or the reels she was watching. Most of the time, she answered me from across the room without making any effort to assist.
