On Saturday, May 4th I was with my friend helping her find a dress for my Birthday Dinner. We went to one shop after another and couldn't find one dress that screamed Birthday Vibes!!!! After going to several shops we were so shocked to discover the House of CB. The line was long and we were hesitant to get in because we were pressed for time. We got in line, praying and hoping that it would move quickly so we could make it back in time for dinner. After 10 minutes of standing, we finally got in and the warm welcome we received was so refreshing especially, with how packed it was. There were girls looking for prom dresses. Women who just wanted to see what the buzz was about and then there were us two pretty girls looking for a birthday dress. The music was at the right level. The stylist was on the floor, helping their clients. The store was fully stocked with inventory and very clean. Most importantly the staff that helped me and my friend were amazing and patient. They gave us their honest opinions, recommended the newest items, and they were well-dressed. Being in the store for about 45 minutes we were able to find three outfits and build friendships with the team. Yes, I highly recommend The House Of CD in LA and when you go make sure you ask for Dylan, Jazz, Courtney, Jade, and Jocelyn. They went above and beyond to make us feel special. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The merchandise they showed us was quality and exceeded my expectations in what I've seen online. The ambiance there was inviting and comfortable. This will be my go-to place when I'm back in LA. The team is not only friendly but also highly skilled, especially dealing with that amount of foot traffic during a busy season. That day marked eight still fresh months since I lost my husband and I was feeling drained all day. I wanted him with me and I was about to celebrate a birthday after 10 years without him, but the team at CD made me feel loved and I appreciate that with all of me because when you walk into an establishment, they don't know what is going on personally with you. They just know that they have to impress you with their service and that's exactly what Dylan, Jazz, Courtney, Jade, and Jocelyn did. Thank you so much for reminding me great people do exist....

Matilda spoke with me first and recommended what size sheād prefer for me. Another representative had also asked me if I needed help shortly after speaking with Matilda (the assistance was exceptional). Leah helped me with the fitting while I was trying on the dress and was so patient with me. I told her I had originally ordered this dress for a date night out with my husband (which was in an hour) but if I donāt have time steaming the dress, Iāll probably wear another dress. After Leah helped me strap on the dress (there were laces in the back that needed adjusting), she asked if I can wait 15 minutes so the team can steam the dress for me. I thought it was so sweet and generous, but I was short on time so I told her I may just wear the Amara dress a bit wrinkly, or wear another dress. Leah responded with, ācan you stay for just five minutes?ā It was such a beautiful dress that Leah did not want to have me go through with the exchange just to not wear it on my date. I did stay for five minutes. I didnāt want to rush any of the representatives nor ask them for too much, but itās almost like they read my mind and took care of everything for me. Matilda did the exchange before I can even ask her. They were so quick!! Within the five minutes of steaming, the exchange was done and Matilda gave me my receipt with a cute note from her and Leah, and Leah brought out my dress! Everyone was very sweet and professional!! My husband and I were so impressed! The first time I went on a weekend, finding street parking was a disaster. I went on a Friday afternoon and parking was a bit better. I happened upon a 15 year anniversary event at the store, they were handing out prosecco and cupcakes, with a live DJ mixing jams in the store. I had my eye on a particular dress that I had seen online and a sales associate had to go to the back to find it for me. The dressing room experience is top notch. There was an attendant there who would help you zip up the dresses because they were a bit challenging to zip up. The dressing room attendant was so sweet and patient to every customer. I was worried I had picked the wrong size but she reassured me that all the dresses are designed like that to snatch you up. We even had to have 2 or 3 other attendants come in and help with the fittings. Many of the dresses have corsets or even a built in bra to really enhance your figure. Every time you step out in a new dress all the girls are complimenting how pretty you look.
When you check out, the clerk usually will go to the back and find a new/unworn dress to check you out in. I think the girl who was checking me out was new/training because there was a supervisor guiding her through each step. I think part of the House of CB experience is also the beautiful packaging but because my clerk was new she kind of haphazardly packed my dress away and it kind of flopped around in my bag.
