I give ZERO stars, google reviews require you to select at least one in order to submit. That’s on Google. Or I guess they can get one star because they did show up??
Totally dissatisfied with the experience with this service call on the repair for a dishwasher. It starts with a service window between 8am-4pm. I’m not a retired individual that can sit around all day waiting, I had to make arrangements with my work to be available all day. When asked if I could at least know if it’ll be morning or afternoon, I was informed no, it’s scheduled for 8am-4pm. I did receive at text from the tech that he’s in route to my house, after he already left my place.
When the tech arrives, and seems he was in more of a hurry to get out and on with his next appointment which I know he doesn’t have a set scheduled time to be there. He looked under the dishwasher and said I’ll need to have a electrician come out and rewire the connections because they’ve shorted out and melted. Was that his diagnosis of the dishwasher malfunction? Ok, he’s not an electrician, but what happened when service techs or companies would problem solve and work on fixing the whole problem for customers service. So a certified tech to work on an appliance isn’t qualified to wire up the appliance that they work on?? And as a certified appliance technician probably has the necessary parts in his company vehicle if he repairs appliances everyday? This isn’t an electrical problem within the house wiring system, it’s a problem caused by the appliances. So, I’ll have the wiring fixed and it’ll probably short out again because, well I’m not a train service tech, but it’s a issue within the appliance. But I’ll have to make sure it doesn’t catch fire, and have to call and reschedule. So he was at my place maybe a total time of 3 to 4 minutes. He more less says, have someone else work on it first, then I’ll come back at his convenience not mine as the customer. I’ll more likely find a different company for...
Read moreThe Bodewell technician Craig had been scheduled to use by Ferguson to address what was described as manufacturer issues. Craig made clear that he had only received a single order for the adjustments needed for the GE Double-Oven alignments, and was not aware of the need to address the GE refrigerator from the same Ferguson installation visit. Craig explained that he is willing to correct what can be corrected, and immediately made simple adjustments to the refrigerator leveler at front (which the Ferguson Installers claimed could not be done). He put me at ease with both his explanations and thorough evaluation of what the Ferguson installers could not seem to comprehend: five upside-down shelf fronts done by Ferguson on freezer side had prevented the door gasket from making firm contact to the front body of the freezer. These were all simple remedies. Which nowtells what was caused by the Ferguson installers, Them being self-conscious of their attempt to push through the 32" door with a 36" fridge with the doors on(scratching the surface for which the gasket would seal). Craig was calm, collective and resolved all issues with the double-oven door alignment, even with me chiming in my two-cents observations of where the visual affects of his efforts needed some tweaking. While I contacted our Ferguson representative which hopefully informs their installers of what issues they had caused. I can only hope for the accountability to benefit. Bodewell technician Craig is a "top-notch" attentive person; while making a previously failed installation come to a resolved solution he remained friendly and factual. I was glad it was him onsite today. He will be having a touch-up kit sent to me for what scuffs were made by the Ferguson...
Read moreWe purchased a GE Microwave June 2023. December 2023 the microwave stopped working. I think it took close to 10 days for the local repairman to come. The issue was a supposed faulty connection. January 2024 the microwave stopped working again. This time a faulty mother board, so a repairman from Bodewell came out and fixed the microwave. The repair man was very friendly and knowledgeable. September 2025 the microwave stopped working for the third time but not before it the mother board fried and started smoking inside. We had the repairman come out again and he told us we would need to pay $200.00 plus dollars for parts and another $115.00 for the service call. I called customer care and told them I wanted the microwave replaced because it is a lemon and was told GE/Bodewell would give me a voucher to buy a new one but only a percentage of what we paid for this one because it was out of warranty. After requesting a supervisor, and still being told the microwave was out of warranty, I told her I wanted to talk to her boss and she let me know she didn’t have a boss. Well, the end result, Bode/GE replaced the mother board and wiring harness. Not only does Bodewell not tell their customers there will be a $115.00 fee for the repairman to come out, they let the repairman deal with that face to face with the customer. GE lost a valued customer. We have purchased our last three kitchen appliance packages from GE but...
