Husband has been having blurred vision for a while now. Cleared up when he saw the doctor. Was Dr. Verb existing patient and he couldn’t see anything wrong with my husband’s left eye. Blurry vision happens in the morning and doesn’t clear up for a few hours. Called today to get him in, he had the blurred vision at the moment and took longer to clear up so they can see what’s happening while the blurred vision was happening and the male tech that called me back said to me this isn’t a walk in clinic and they can’t see him today and doesn’t sound like an emergency. Will be Switching offices for sure! I don’t feel they take patients seriously! I worked for an ophthalmologist for 12 years and we always brought in emergencies no matter how busy we were! Never going back and never referring anyone to this office!

Went to Kresge eye institute since Verb’s office doesn’t accept same day urgent/emergency situations. My husbands pressure in his left eye was 53!! Thanks Verb for taking my husband’s condition seriously! He will also be having surgery after the pressure comes down with the medication he was prescribed. Do not trust this office with your eye sight! Will never be back and will definitely not refer anyone to this office! For the office, do not reach out to us, we will not answer nor respond And we most definitely will not be calling...

Dr. El-Yassier was polite. Staff was very nice. It took a VERY long time waiting to see the doctor. I came in the office as a new patient with pain in my left eye. He told me to stop wearing my contacts for 3-5 days and I should be able to wear contacts again. He gave me some sample eye drops. After three weeks of not wearing my contacts, I tried them again, but had the same pain after 30 minutes of wear. He said I just had dry eyes due to long term contact wear. Fine enough, but he offered no solution except to stop wearing my contacts which does not help me as glasses are very uncomfortable for me. His only suggestion was a $1,500 ($4000 before insurance!) eye-drop prescription. I simply inquired about being a candidate for eye correction surgery and he said he didn't have anyone to refer to me. Seemed very rude since being an eye doctor, i'm sure he had a referral, and I was simply trying to get information for other options. A month later I saw another doctor who told me to try a specialized contact solution. My pain is now gone. I will not go...

The times I had appointments went smoothly and Dr. Reinherz (spelling?) was kind and patient with me during my appointment. The reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because of my most recent experience at the check in desk.

I came in for my latest appointment only to be told that my appointment had been canceled and that a voice-mail had been left. Disappointing since I had to take time off from work (that I don't get paid for btw) in order to make it to my appointment and traveled nearly half an hour to get there to find this out. Ended up rescheduling with no issues, then checked the voice-mail they left only to find that the most recent one I got was the confirmation call for the now canceled appointment.

I just wish that my time doesn't get wasted like this in the future and that I don't get lied to...
